    Pork chops and apple sauce = yummy; pork chops and Apple Chutney = Uber Yummy! What do you think about tossing the chutney in the empty pork chop skillet to add the fond to the chutney? Thank you so much for sharing Sarah!

    @EveryDayFood SarahC : I really enjoyed your video. I was looking at a couple apples earlier that I have & thought I'd make Apple sauce to go with my tomorrow's pork chop dinner. It's amazing this video In Box on my page. I have everything in my pantry to make this. Thank you for sharing. It's what's for dinner tomorrow & I can't wait to try it.

    Looks great! Will def make especially apples will be ripe for picking soon. How do you get the splatter bits of oil of your skillet? I cooked a piece steak yesterday and couldn't get the stains out of the pan even with bar keepers friend!

      Cleaning the pan as soon as possible will help, if they're quality steel pans you should also be able to use a metal scouring pad without damaging the steel. Or boil a mixture of water, baking soda, and vinegar in the pan then scrub with a cloth.

    I have 2 really small chickens I want to use for dinner tonight. Your Apple chutney would go great with them.

    I have never tried Chutney before as I felt quite skeptical as it's like a jam. I think I might give it a try as I have one apple left but I hate Raisin and would left it out though.

    That salt should be enough to mummify those chops😵‍💫

  • @christines1924
    @christines1924 5 лет назад +2

    That is SOOOO much salt! Am I just not seasoning my meat well enough? Isn't the meat going to be real salty?

    • @Nocturne22
      @Nocturne22 5 лет назад +3

      The salt is only on the surface, so it's really not all that much

      Her recipes are great but IMHO she over-salts A LOT and she jokes about it sometimes. :-) Use your own judgement based on your taste.
