I wish they didn't have a turbo. Turbo equals more problems less engine life. I would go with the hybrid, but it only comes in four-wheel drive. I don't need a four-wheel drive. I don't want higher maintenance costs, less fuel mileage. And not to mention a rear electronic axel that can not be repaired must be replaced. And cost a fortune.
You’re missing a lot without the use of the cruise control, I’ll suggest you search for videos on RUclips…. The car is a machine it breaks and accelerates by itself while on cruise control.

This powertrain is superior for that type of driving. Which would I prefer? The V6. But it is impossible for me to deny that this is a better powertrain for most people, most of the time.

With the same price or even lower, I would rather buy 2 years old Certified MDX tech package or above. With many options added all Toyota are expensive basic cars vs luxury cars.

The Grand Highlander is much bigger than many of us need, but we like having something a bit larger than a RAV4 where the 3rd row is only needed once or twice per year for a short trip. Crown Signia is nice, but it is a wagon. The Highlander deserves a new model makeover. Discontinuing it is short sighted.

3rd row is useless. We use it for grocery shopping but would like captain's seat for easy access to and from 3rd row.

Comparing it to a luxury brand will have that effect. I'd rather a 2 year old certified RX over a Honda Pilot.

I'm with you, especially with vinyl seats. Leather ventilated seats are available on the Limited or Platinum trims.
They only have heated seats.
