You let people influence your relationship with God ,, you are just like them the church is the people not the building , God is building a people of power , who are called by his name , those who want to be transformed . Read Eze 36:26 -38, that’s the transformation God is doing with Israel and us the gentiles , when we believe In him. With out his gift of salvation you are not saved , and they were not saved either , they are lost too! when God gives you his Holy Spirit only then you can make a difference. John 3:16 You must be Born again . Christianity is true when you choose to follow only Jesus .

What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word.
Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary.
What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below.
      New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

      @@ednadiaz4193 Romans Chapter 11:
In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews.
Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost.
Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24.
Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church.
I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following.
"And then all Israel will be saved..."
I have heard another say the following.
"And all Israel will be saved..."
What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say?
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse.
How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future?
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith.
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews.

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth no one will see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." For God so loved the world that He give His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the World through Him. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. " If you want to be sure of Heaven and avoid the other place below say the following prayer sincerely from your heart." Lord Jesus I repent and am sorry for my sins forgive me. I forgive all who have offended me. Come into my heart and save me. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and baptise me with your Holy Spirit. Fulfill your plan and purpose in my life. "I recommend you read John's Gospel especially chapter 3.Gbu.John 3v3v22,John 14v6.

If the enemy were really smart he would come up with a huge lie to cause everyone to believe God's Laws are done away with! If he could cause people to serve Himself and lawlessness while worshipping like the pagans in the Old Testament, under every green tree, that would be a serious strong delusion! Or how about making CALENDARS with all sorts of false god names so we say them ALL the time and even teach our children. Nope, it wouldn't work, no one reading the front of the Bible would fall for ANYTHING like that! Unless he tells them the front of the book isn't relevant

Churches need to follow this example of faithfulness to doctrine and faithfulness to doing good works. Salt and light is exactly the answer. I hope people reading this embrace what's being said here. For God so loved the world that He give His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life.

Then I got back to going regularly. I've noticed that most people in the mega churches that are typically non denominational would never visit a Church like we visited in 'the good ol days'. They don't want to 'hear' what the 'preacher man' has to say.. especially our Baptist or Pentecostal Pastors. Most people today seem to want to 'belong' to a club. They are 'soft' and think we must 'accept' people rather than TEACH THEM Christian principles. They no longer want to hear hymns that have been sung by congregations for CENTURIES.. They're too cool for that. 😏 Addendum: to clarify, I like contemporary Christian music as well. I've been part of worship teams and played guitar.

All it takes is a quick Google search about the validity of the story of Noah's flood, and the whole doctrine of the inerrancy of scripture comes crumbling down, and with it, the divinity of Christ.

If we really are possessed of immortal souls, it seems like a pretty important thing. Consider the words of T.S. Eliot -

You can find all of your fellow apostates through the centuries with a quick Google search, but you would have to have done at least TWO, and given faithful scholarship equal time, to have any sense of a matter that important.
I have been expeditions that have dug shark's teeth out of mountains too far from the sea for that to have happened except in one way ... and should you climb Mt. It became clear to me that growth was impossible under their tutelage as, they didn't know much themselves. I was 13 or 14 at the time. Such people should not get authority, and yet ...
From what I see this is true in most evangelical churches. Christianity has lost its intellectual roots going back to at least the Jesuits, and likely much further. Intelligence and expertise is seen as dangerous.

I don't blame God at all for how they act, but I've truly seen a dark side of people who claim to believe in the love and grace of Jesus Christ yet are quick to disown fellow believers for stupid reasons. They don't realize they are pushing people away. "The love of many will wax cold..."

You won't get fancy sermons, jazzy music, or bright stage lights for sure......We may not seem overly welcoming or friendly at first, because we are more focused on being in the presence of Jesus and talking with Him than we are about who is arriving or going- but you will find peace and quiet love in the community and most importantly, a steady , full relationship with Jesus. God bless to all of you on your journey 🙏!

As a Christian I see a whole host of problems with Christian culture at large and what is taught. I take no issue with Jesus but I do take issue with a lot of traditional, extrabiblical, and misunderstandings of the scriptures that are almost impossible to question without getting kicked out of a church. Jesus often opposed the religious people who used the scriptures to do exactly the opposite of what the scriptures meant!!! When people arent allowed to ask questions, use their brains and ask difficult questions, and what is found is legalism and a lack of love, people arent going to stick around. It saddens me because what could be something good... the church... in many ways causes harm.

Well said. Churches could be institutions that promote love, tolerance, forgiveness, and hope. They could "proselytize" by encouraging their members to be humble examples of imperfect people with an imperfect understanding, but who try to live their best lives with a heavy emphasis on the aforementioned virtues.
Instead, I have the impression that many churches claim a disdainful infallibility. Any doubts or questions are due to YOU being inadequate in some way, and are responded to with bromides like "pray about it" or "just have faith." Not to mention the steaming hypocrisy, especially in the era of tRump.

As he said, this has been a trend for over 25 years. I think a lot of it is due to the Internet. Christianity, or any dogmatic supernatural religion thrives on its members being inducted, when they are too young to know the difference between truth and falsehood, and then being in an insulated environment, where everyone else believes the same thing. I left the church 30 years ago because I was studying to be an apologist. I basically found the other sides arguments more compelling. First, I lost faith in the infallibility of scripture. Eventually I came to be an atheist.

I no longer attend church but I read the Bible and pray together with my family. I used to faithfully attend church every Sunday and give generously in the offering. The last church I attended (The Chapel, Grayslake Illinois) The senior pastor Scott Chapman asked me to stop attending when I would complain about the loud volume of the music that would hurt my years over 92 decibels. And also when I would discuss by email any points in the sermon that I disagreed with. Church in America is just a business. There is not justification for the office of a pastor in the Bible. A pastor is just a role or function not an office. The American church pastor role model is actually an Old testament model and not too different from the Roman Catholic Church model. It is not a New Covenant Church model. It denies the priesthood of the believer.

The church's bigotry is one of the numerous reasons I left (along with a long list of theological problems). And this video is reinforcing the message: At 3:35 he says "...do we see the culture starting to creep into the churches...?" backed by an image of Christians wearing LGBT-affirming symbols.
He doesn't come out and say "gay people aren't welcome here", but he doesn't have to say it. The message comes across loud and clear. As a Christian, I was taught (in subtle and not-so-subtle ways,) that if was affirming of my queer friends, that I was not a true Christian.
This put me in a bind because the church was demanding that I VIOLATE MY CONSCIENCE.
And then every time the church asked me to search my heart and confess my sins to God, the biggest thing I felt guilty about was the way I had treated LGBTQ people in my life, in the name of this God. "love the sinner, hate the sin" never felt loving to me; it felt awful to both me and the person on the other end of that relationship. But then I felt like I wasn't allowed to feel guilt about that, because (allegedly) I was following God.
I wrapped myself in knots doing the mental gymnastics it took to maintain the evangelical theology. And eventually, I just couldn't do the mental gymnastics anymore.
I stopped, and life is so much better on the other side. And now I am free to actually love people unconditionally, which was only lip service when I was in the church.

Many Bible readers note the plural pronouns (us; our) with curiosity. They might suggest that the plurals refer to the Trinity, but technical research in Hebrew grammar and exegesis has shown that the Trinity is not a coherent explanation.
Michael S. Heiser, The Unseen Realm (Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press 2015), p. 39.
He continues in a lengthy footnote:
Seeing the Trinity in Gen 1:26 is reading the New Testament back into the old Testament, something that isn’t a sound interpretive method for discerning what an Old Testament writer was thinking. Unlike the New Testament, the Old Testament has no Trinitarian phrases (e.g., “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit”; cf Matt 28:19-20). The triune godhead idea is never transparently expressed in the Old Testament. Since…other references to divine plurality involve divine beings who are lesser than Yahweh, we must be careful about attributing the language of divine plurality to the Trinity. Doing so will get us into theological trouble in other passages….The answer to the plurality language is also not the “plural of majesty.” As Joüon-Muraoka notes, “The we of majesty does not exist in Hebrew”…The plural of majesty does exist for nouns…but Gen 1:26 is not about the nouns-the issue is the verbal forms.

We've become too much like the world, and accepted/embraced the world too much thinking it would draw more people. The result is the exact opposite! If we don't offer anything more than what the world offers, why would people go to church and be surrounded by a bunch of "hypocrites"? Nope. People are leaving Christianity because they can see the hypocrisy of the church in America. Hundreds of preachers have told us for YEARS that "We are in the end times" and that "The antichrist is coming and he will deceive many." "Any day now", they said. But now, when someone with all the signs of the antichrist arrives, these same people say that "He is chosen by God" . They deceived many into believing this lie. They told us that God Himself told them and showed them signs that Trump would "win 2020 in a landslide" and that "Biden will NEVER be president." They said that. And they fooled MILLIONS of Christians into believing it. Make no mistake, this was the prophecy of 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 that came true. You all did NOT have the love for Truth.
Trump supporters IDOL WORSHIP Trump. No idol worshipper can be an "elect." You have been fooled. And then Trump re-tweeted a tweet that compared himself to God. SHAME on you guys for idol worshipping him . SHAME. Trump supporters are the reason why people are leaving the church

Very little teaching on sinful living, hell, and demonic spiritual warfare. I attend a weekly Bible study meeting and I recently started going to a Sunday School class that has a very anointed teacher that doesn't shy away from talking about sin, hell, how we're really supposed to love one another and what that looks like according to Scripture. The government never said we could not worship, and no Biblically informed believer ever stopped or could be stopped in worshiping. The loss of four hours in a building stopped nothing for Biblically informed believers. The church began in homes, and returned there ... in my church, we hooked up the phones and Internet and had our Bibles and hymnbooks at home and did everything the believers in Acts did, four times a week, totaling about nine hours a week. The rest of the waking hours of that 168 in the week, we went on and worshiped the Lord daily EVERYWHERE ... just like before. Today, the church building is open, but the sick, infirm, and traveling have MORE OPTIONS to be part of hearing the Word and prayer and singing than they ever did, coast to coast. Nothing was hindered except for those that thought the building was NECESSARY. It is not, for as God said all the way back in the Old Testament, He does not dwell in buildings made with hands. In the New Testament, we learned of Immanuel: GOD WITH US, and so, available to be worshiped, EVERYWHERE.

I'm about as "Protestant" as they come, and although I wish you would have found fulfillment in your evangelical church, I'm glad you are where you are - a church with a spirit of reverence for God. (all this in spite of what flintwestwood said about what I supposedly hate and blasphemy) Just as many Catholics see "mainstream" Catholicism as too watered down, the Evangelical Church you describe is what I'm dealing with. "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art" put me in a much more worshipful spirit than a rock concert, or simply singing the same verse over and over dozens of times until I start wondering what's for lunch. So I just wanted to say I believe I understand, and am happy for you. All the best ...

50 years was to long to be a Christian for. I got tired of treating my wife like a sub human with no rights, got tired of over working the slave i owned. Got tired of being hateful towards LGBTQ people for no reason. And got overall tired of telling people how to live there life which is not American at all. I almost had to move out of the country to be a true Christian. But i changed my mind and decided to be a real American man and not care how others live their lifes and started focusing on my family.
Christianity is the most anti American thing you can do...

I’m confused by your anecdote. If the focus of Biblical Christianity is about spreading the Good News of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, then what does that have to do with why you left Christianity? Perhaps the institution of the church was not a good one. People either can have a healthy fear of God or not. Our choice. We are all sinners so none can cast the first stone. No one succumbs for pressure sake.
The responsibility of Christians is to care enough to share the Amazing Grace we are given when we have a close walk, through our own conviction and repentance, to see how good it can be to live a righteous life and the fruits that it brings!

Also capatalism teaches individualism & not helping others & capitalism is teaching many churches to be selfish & greedy I herd one preacher who had his own personal airplane and I'm a lesbian never chose to be this way it's genetic there's animals that are gay and lesbian and hermaphrodites there's also animals that can mutate from male to female and vice versa human males can actually Lactaid milk they can release a hormone from the prostate gland it's been medically documented happening more so in poor countries where the mothers die more often this happens only on rare occasions when the mother cannot breastfeed the baby a pheromone kicks instant the baby releases and a man will start lactating milk even if they're not related which proves the Bible wrong cuz the Bible says men are not supposed to help raise the babies which is ridiculous and the Bible does cause oppression towards women from men and boys 2 lower their sympathy and men and boys and it's one of the leading causes of domestic violent crimes you should read the book inside the minds angry man why does he do that by Lundy brand Croft you look at Mother Nature there is a species a bird where the female in the male made in the female leaves and never sees the baby in the mail stays with you the whole time it's like a peacock to color egg I can't remember the bird species name but I know that seahorses certain species of fish frogs lizards octopus and squid can you take from male to female a swallow bird species has four chromosomes for genders humans can't mutate to that degree because the neurons are permanent inside the Inn blah glata gland but they can mutate like Lactaid milk and they can be born with a chromosome condition what happens with transgenders is the Y chromosome is there but the chemical doesn't kick in to make the male partner oh and this is the same for the X chromosome so genetically their male or female but biologically they are the opposite it's just a chromosome mutation and then gays and lesbians just have different types of neurons than a straight person trust me I tried to become straight and high school we can't make yourself straight and I was miserable I was desperate to try to make myself straight because I was getting beat up all the time and bullying and trust me it's not something you choose to be genetic and there's lots as men and women that get abused and they're still straight so abused doesn't like people that way and when I stopped pretending to be something I was not born when I was really happy and so I'm glad that you finally realized that hating on the gtpl community is not good and thank you for changing your life around I know that nature creates variances and so everybody's different I believe that were created differently also for Spiritual reasons we can all learn to accept each other's differences and I know chromosome mutations can happen otherwise hermaphrodites would not exist there's also intersex people they are born with both male and female chromosome but they're either biologically male or female so chromosome wise they are hermaphrodites but outwardly they are only male or female it's in medical documents if you look at the email there's and they protect their babies without a male Mother Nature is flexible and is not black and white I like to wear men's and women's clothes androgynous me look at Britain lots of androgynous men back in the Victorian era and most of them were not gay so I'm glad that you see the truth

You're suppose to love your wife like Christ loves the Church. It's not like in Islam where a women's testimony is valued half of a man's testimony. Or were beating one's wife is actually allowed with instructions how to do so.
According to Christ you're not suppose to hate anyone. That is akin to the sin of murder in God's eyes. You also can't call someone an offensive name either because that is just as bad.
You should live by God's standards and at the very least persuade others to do so. Not only is it good for their temporal well being, but also their eternal well being. If not then there is no real objective right or wrong just opinions. This would allow for men to think it right to beat their wives like in Islam. Are you cool with that?
In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.

"Rampant biblical confusion" is absolutely the case in America. It is a decline that began in the 1800s and continues today. I believe the causes are many, but that the neglect of a personal life with the Lord is most significant. It all become cerebral and at that point the supermarket of ideas becomes alluring. One idea has as much appeal as another and we choose what seems to fit our needs best. That is a prescription for disaster.
