Fascinating, thanks for uploading. Why would Jacob play the low D at 0:23 knowing how its seventh harmonic interacts with the C# pedal point? Even more confounding is the G under the G# at 0:45
A cover is specifically playing someone else's music, if you play your own music but in a way that is very different from the original, that's called a new arrangement.
The studio version is awesome, the acoustic and these live ones not as much. Gives you a perspective how great production can make great voices reach heights they simply don't on their own. This is meant as a compliment to the producers, not as a jab at the performers.
This potato has the best sound quality I've ever heard!
This song is BEAUTIFUL. I want Lizzy to release a piano version of the song with Jacob.
Jacob played in a different key in LA and lizzy was like hey that's not it
wait how many shows did she sing at lol
I saw that. Was funny lol
Is there a video of this happening?
I remember that, and I came across this video trying to see if there’s any footage of that performance
Thats a huge sign of respect. Means he trusts youre a really good musician that can truly use their instrument. Shes got it
