Fantastic comprehensive I give this A+++ .... 'cept for dumping the ph test water back into the hot tub. A minor glitch... and when in front of a camera easy to do.
At 6:49 We see a green discolored face plate at the filter box. It does not look look this was ever cleaned as when you begin the re-fill at 7:48 it is still there.
I was with you right up to the point where you dumped your test water with the reagents back into the tub. Granted, the user introduces more than that every time they step into the tub. Still, not the best practice.
Excellent video. But at the end when draining,(At the 7:00 part) shouldn't you rince the bottom since all that crap was just sitting there, before you fill it back up?
My spa heats when you press the plus symbol. If it says COOL thats completely normal. If you see the temp. start moving up, then thats how you know its heating. If its giving error signals like SN1 or SN2, theres probably something wrong with the heater, or heat sensors. But all spa's are different, hope this helped.
The only thing I didnt see him specify was what he was using to clean the shell. I use a vinegar and water solution but technically, the chlorine sanitizer should take care of anything left behind.
The only time you do that is if you cant establish sanitizer reading, or after you've winterized the spa. Basically if its been turned OFF for a long period of time.
Honestly one of the better produced and informative videos on how to purge and drain a spa. Thanks!

How do you check if the hot tub is heating without opening the control panel? Should the 3-lined heating symbol be on, even when it says “COOL?”

Thanks for the video, Why was it not necessary to decontaminate the spa?

@@joeystylzclash3455 I see, thanks for answering.
Yeah right, your service manager.
you didn't clean the sundance logo by the filter. It looks green with Algae.
I dont know if I would ever feel ok getting back into that thing honestly.
You don’t take the filter out. When the powers on
Whoop!!
My Sundance spas pillows are not screwed on...
Yea I think all the newer ones have plugs on the back, so you can just pop them on and off easily.
Great video
Good video, but why is it 15 frames per second?? Makes it hard to watch tbh.
