She was a gift, and with the rising price of food, she's a blessing that, with these videos, keeps giving to the poor and middle class. Thank you, Clara.

THIS at its core is why the internet was invented; the sharing and storing of the world knowledge for every subsequent generation. Clara, and you her grandson, are heros for this. You have given a gift beyond generations, and to me, that is a truely grand legacy.

I stumbled onto this channel when my babies were in elementary. Just on Tuesday I made Poor man's meal because its my teens favorite. They often like when I play that video and my daughter say "I love Clara, she has great stories". Just know that her love and care for you has extended to others who lovingly recreate her meals made with love in her kitchen❤
Dear Christopher, thank you so much for your videos of your Grandmother, Clara. She is so sweet and such an inspiration to me. I live alone and watch her videos when life is too much. Never take them down, please.
She is missed for sure! You did a wonderful thing for her at her last years and in doing so she made a lot of use more appreciative of life and the simple things…
I agree with so many here, she was an amazing woman. Thank you so much for sharing your time & recipes with us. She will be missed, but never forgotten.❤
I found Clara about 18 years ago. She was a personality not a character, when she passed I missed visiting in her kitchen. I enjoy these keeping her memory alive.. Thanks!
Oddly enough, I dug out her cookbook last night. My family and I are going through a very hard time and I wanted to read it again for comfort. Bless her and I know she is resting in the Light of eternal Love.
Many prayers for the family, its the times we are in because, things have hit this family. I tell you so you know that it’s not just yours. I’m in my late 50 I stand by Jesus I know that he is coming soon. With worse times ahead but, I know I’Ll see Clair in heaven and we all be in her kitchen talking and having fun. I began watching her videos long after she'd passed. I enjoy them so much that I just ordered her Biography 1 week ago. I'm going to read it on my November flight to Florida. RIP Clara and thank you Christopher for the wonderful videos
Thank you so much, not only for this lovely tribute, but for sharing Clara with all of us. I was in college when I first found this channel, circa 2010, and I fell in love with Clara's warmth right away. The first recipe of hers I ever tried was The Poorman's Meal. I've made it countless times since--it's even on my dinner menu for this week--and every time, I think of her as I'm preparing it. Her mother's simple cake recipe, featured in her cookbook, has also become a favorite. Clara was an absolute delight to watch any time, but especially during COVID lockdown when her wisdom of having grown up in similar tough times seemed even more poignant. She was a wonderful lady and, once again, thank you for sharing her with all of us here on the Internet. We love and miss you, Clara!
She’s so sweet! She reminds me of a beloved family friend named Vera, she was 93 when she passed away but she was so fun and had so much knowledge to pass down to us. Miss her a lot, and Clara!
I discovered Clara and your wonderful videos right before she passed. I cried like I knew her, both of you really. I don’t remember ever being so connected with someone I hadn’t even met. RIP Clara, your light still shines bright ❤
I am so delighted to see this; I just finally had the money to buy her cookbook last month after so many years of following this channel and every page felt like a spoonful of hot soup punctuated with a hug. Thank you for sharing her with us again and again, even after all this time. ❤
I really wish I was watching Clara's Kitchen from the beginning. She seems like a wonderful woman who rolled with the punches and made the best of things. You are missed Clara.
Such a loving, wonderful woman. She lives on in the hearts of thousands of others- total strangers, having come together to appreciate her passion for cooking for others.
I just made her Holiday Biscotti the other day. Tears are running down my cheeks. She was an Angel on Earth, and God blessed her immensely. I know where I am going and hope to meet her in Paradise when I get there. RIP, Clara.
I grew up watching her. I can’t believe it’s been ten years since her passing. She was such a beautiful soul. I loved how caring she was for her family. How resourceful she was. And how much she taught us and instilled in us all. A beautiful woman, with a beautiful heart, and a beautiful talent at cooking.
Thank you so much for this beautiful tribute to your grandmother and for sharing her with all of us! ❤️ Watching her videos makes me so happy and comforted. ❤️
