So true. It's the hipster food revolution that drives the prices up for these horrible cuts. Oxtail is a crappy cut of meat it's practically worthless. But because everyone has figured out, as with any cut of meat, if prepared correctly the flavor can be out of this world. Look at skirt steak. It's one of the toughess cuts but because everyone knows how to properly cook it everyone wants it. It's become popularised, leading to more demand, and due to the limited amount you get from a single cow, prices have skyrocketed. Even these are literally throw away cuts.
I just love you😊 The only one in my family who cooked authentic Spanish food was my aunt. My mom never did. Although Cuban food and Puerto Rican food are a little different I thank you for the wonderful recipes. 😊

Crock pot is the way to go for me.. At around 12 pm Prepare it, Set it and forget it.. 5-6hrs later dinner is done!!
