You can't ignore the fact that he is the only reactor who chooses his words so specifically and carefully and sometimes he didn't find words during eminem reactions 🤣🤣🤣
One of the best songs for rhyme schemes is “stay wide awake” it’s content will also will take you to new shady horizons You’ll appreciate how every sentence rhymes with The one that came before it, if this song made you sweat, ‘stay wide awake” will make you lose control of your bowels :)
Honestly, man, it's this kind of Eminem I love the most. Yeah, his more down to earth songs, or songs with just great lyrical ability or speed are cool and all, but I just love the stuff where he leans into goofy/wacky stuff (like Just Lose It or Ass Like That) or leans into the Horror Core/shock value stuff (like this or 3 am). It's why Relapse (Refill) and Encore are both in my Top 3 albums of his. But other stuff like Kamikaze and Music To Be Murdered By (Side B) are in my Top 5, due to all that lyrical ability and stuff like that. Thats the really great part about Eminem's catalog. You can get such a variety of styles and all that. You can go from Fack to Rap God to Say What You Say to Insane to Not Alike, etc, and just get such variety in approaches and storytelling and all that. It's really awesome.
Fack was a troll song, literally the very first song in his greatest hits album. As for Insane, it was meant to be a song that pissed people off and disgusted them
As crazy as it sounds as well. Could be a metaphor for just how badly his parents really "fucked" him growing up. Like genuinely just fucked up his life
While describing that there are fucked up things that can happen in life causing said people to grow up into fucked up people. Theres trauma behind a lot of the insane people that society judge. Surprised people dont really get that from the song, thought its pretty clear, theres a meaning behind the shock factor
BIG facts.. Stay Wide Awake really shows his creative side at its finest. MrLBoyd deserve a break at least a few days before anymore troll tracks. Stay Wide Awake is a beautiful song
He's expressing his deep trauma. That's what artists do whether it's awkward or not. The scenarios he's creating tell a metaphoric story of how he feels like the "hate speech" that he conveys feels violent, "I just fucking got chased off with a chainsaw, then I took the chainsaw, bit the fucking blades off". He grew up in a house of verbal abuse & turned it on them by adopting the patterns. thats just one part.
I wouldn't include 3 AM in the same vein as this and especially Fack. This song despite the ridiculous subject matter is so catchy, and horror rap like 3 AM is fun!
Ok, as fans of this man, can we agree as a community that when it comes time for him to hear Kim, we make it clear the next Em song after should be Bonnie and Clyde '97, because those 2 basically flow into each other despite being on different albums and released reverse chronologically?
In fact, if we could suggest it be his first doubleheader, that would be amazing. But I enjoy the man, and don't want him overwhelmed with how prolific the content is flowing. Around 5 a night?! I'm all for it!
@@MRXsmoke11 how many other two-parter songs are there? Off the top of my head: '97 Bonnie & Clyde and Kim 3AM and Framed Stan and Bad Guy I'm sure there might be more
You guys are kidding, but it really is a love song. To feel that much rage towards someone, you have to first love them. Otherwise, you wouldn't care enough to get so worked up.
Glad you followed through and not only finished the song but actually released the reaction. Really appreciate your honest reactions. Keep it up my dood!
I found this song and album super amusing when I was younger. One of my favorites. It's a demented shock value album while he was high relapsing (supposedly). For many, I think it makes them feel better about their life. A way to laugh at our trauma or pain. That's really what humor and comedy is.. a way to laugh at the human struggle and experience. Cheers.
So happy for the Relapse reactions. I stopped following Eminem after The Eminem Show and didn't start listening to him again until MMLP2, at which point I went back through his catalogue and found Relapse. Freaking love that album
I am certain that rap saved him from a much darker fate. He has most of the things required to make a serial killer. Just missing a little head trauma. Thank God for rap.
Great point, but Marshall actually did suffer head trauma - the childhood beating by DeAngelo Bailey that put him in a coma for about a week. So, truly, thank God that Marshall fell in love with rap! He was saved from a potentially much darker fate, and the world got one hell of an artistic genius.
All of the songs you mentioned in this video, and this one, is off of one album... His first after getting clean. He's said his goal was to do no story telling and only get to a many punchlines as he possibly could. In "Not Afraid" he mentions how much he dislikes the album, overall, and promised to never let us down again. To his credit, he kept his word
Looking at the mechanics of the song: cadence, rhythm, scheme... solid. I agree. Great production. Regarding the topic, here is my interpretation of the track. It's a window, albeit brief and specific to let all of us (on the 'other side of the curtain') know how twisted, manipulative and horrific child abuse (especially sexually) can be. It CAN (and likely WILL) leave an impression on those youngsters that will have a direct impact on their life trajectory. Their pain, confusion and anger that we see, can have deeper roots that we don't. Is the track shocking? Yes. Is it uncomfortable? Yes. So imagine the anxiety of the person bearing this weight, and the courage it takes to confide in someone enough to talk about it. It's monumental. Just as the Sex, Drugs, Me Too and Black Lives Matter conversations have hit the mainstream, so should this. Let's remain open to those who need to come forward. Hold those perpetrators accountable. #voicesfortheyouth
To me yes. It's an insight into literally how badly Em's life was "fucked" by his step parents/father/mom and just how badly it fucked up his mind and his life early on
Relapse and its deluxe editions(Relapse: Deluxe Edition; and Relapse: Refill) was a time Eminem came out of rehab. This was Eminem's first album of his sobriety and you can tell from listening to the whole album that he just let loose. A good portion of the songs that are on the Relapse album was Eminem's just venting out what he was going through in his personal life and addiction. Songs like "Insane" and other fucked up songs on material that make most people say, "WTF" is Eminem's way of strutting and saying he can and will rap about the most messed up stuff anyone can even imagine.
Almost every Eminem's songs change people lives. That's why he's who he is. Portugal here for the Goat Eminem always since day one and forever. Thanks for reacting. Salutes.

Felchee or felcher?! Me selecting neither. Add the 3rd option, get beheaded and be done. This was a horrible open for new month of August. But it's Eminem, he's insane. He's us extreme times a 12 million, drops F bombs, leave canyons greater than the Great one. Damn! Hilarious reaction man! Loved this video!

Absolutely. That song is ridiculous so underrated. By far one of the best let alone on relapse

Best rhyme scheme how? Because he barely kept a schme going in the 2nd verse for a few bars? What's special about that?

Classic song. The Eminem Relapse era was fantastic.
I don't think his creative mind is any different than one who creates a horror film. Just expressing it through different art forms

Its so beautiful. Listen to it all the time
