This is the first video that I can remember to review something from Thameen other than Carved Oud & Regent Leather. Seems like when it comes to this brand, those are the only two that get mentioned. Nice to see other Thameens getting some recognition.

Just purchased Royal sapphire and I’m really enjoying it. Was torn between that and Carved oud, but like many have said the latter is a more superior Oud Wood, which is great if you don’t have Oud wood already 😅
Thameen all round have a great line up of fragrances but I was certainly hoping for a few more daring scents.
I was at ZGO in San Francisco this week and they have a great selection of Thameen testers. I really liked the Cullinan Diamond. (The Cullinan Diamond is one of the largest diamonds ever found; it was broken into 9 gems, several of which are in the British crown and various pieces of jewelry owned by the British Royal Family.) I also liked the Carved Oud, much less gamey than I find Out Wood. I also liked Diadem.
I moved from the Bay last year and miss ZGO 😢
Cullianan diamond was inspired by biggest 3100 carat Diamond ever mined in South Africa 🇿🇦 outside Pretoria from area called Cullinan. Discovered by British National Mr Cullinan in 1905.
Didn’t love regent leather at first. Left it for a few months. Came back, can’t get enough of it. Does NOT push off my skin at all though
I tried several Thameen and although they produce quality fragrances, every single one I’ve tested has come across uninspiring. Even tried the hyped carved oud and regent leather to name a few. Nope. Each class (blue, marine, leather) are done better elsewhere. Pass as of this moment on this house
I've only tried 2 from the house and one of them was Carved Oud and I wasn't wowed by it either. I don't dislike it but it was just okay to me. I see it hyped like crazy on Instagram all the time.
The one I was first introduced to was carved oud as a substitute for oud wood going about the fragrance testing in the wrong way I bought it first then decanted oud wood and the results are correct oud wood is weaker it is like oud water. So I enjoy carved oud in fact it’s time to buy another bottle.
@@misterelom I agree with you 100%. I am usually wowed by hyped fragrances but carved oud stands as one I remember being very unimpressed by.
They're not bad, I think you're missing out on the best ones (the British Cologne series) but the mainline has a few decent ones (Sceptre included but also Rivière and Cullinan Diamond is especially my vibe). I think the main issues are price point and also the expectations considering Christopher Chong is creative director. It's rough have to live up to monsters like Interlude, Myths, Overture and Bracken. I still think Peregrina although obviously feminine is a beautiful fragrance.
I’ve tried Carved Oud at the same time I’ve tried Oud Wood and CO really blows it out of the water in terms of everything. I’ve also tried Amber Room which people compare to Dior’s Ambre Nuit and Xerjoff’s 40 Knots, tho I don’t see the similarities with 40 Knots because 40 Knots goes powdery salty. Also I’ve tried Regent Leather and it’s alright, nothing too special.. sweet, vanilla like suede. leather
My girlfriend and I were in London and tried many Thameen fragrances. To me none of them really catched me. This is sad since I had high expectations especially for Carved Oud…
Bohemian Infusion was good but not good enough to buy.

Very interesting. Thameen is an Arabic word meaning "Valuable" or "Precious" Never heard of the brand before. Sceptor seems to have similar vibe as Halfeti Leather.

So the marketing for Rolls Royce Cullinan saids it is named after the biggest diamond so I think that's what that mean, but doesn't look like the fragrance smell like diamond haha
I blind bought a few from this house. I'm not fan Of thameen. Regrets poor performance
