If you compare carved oud and oud wood side by side on the skin, you understand the difference. But yeah, the scents are also very similar. Oud wood becomes «thinner» and more «pencil shaving»-ish compared to a richer and more complex Carved Oud. I prefer Carved oud, but love Oud wood too.
Same. Better scent in my opinion as well, definitely better longevity and sillage and better price. Honestly its superior in practically everyway now that oud wood and many of tom fragrances have essentially been watered down. Seems like a no brainer.
My faves from the brand are 1. Carved oud (my signature) 2. Amber Room 3. Green Pearl 4. Regent leather (more a vanilla to me than leather but real nice) I want to try imperial crown though
How is the performance of Carved Oud? I'm afraid to buy blind and be a skin scent. Unfortunately it doesn't sell in my country, I'll have to export it from another country.
It's gorgeous, I loved TF Oud Wood but the reformulation ruined it, but Carved Oud is a perfect blend with beast mode performance and a beautiful bottle.
