It's a very great performance - notwithstanding the slight mishap at 8:10 - especially at such a young age. Really incredible. Bravo!!! Note: Milstein used to play the section beginning at 1;21 at breakneck speed and it was dazzling.
This was great. The part that begins at 2:38 was amazing. The attacks and releases of every note were subtle and gentle, and the dynamics were perfect between the melody and trills. Also, he has the best double stops. I'm sure he would great playing the Carmen Fantasy with all the double stop work in that piece.

Finally, someone who plays all variations in the score, whithout cuts...this is an excellent performance!!! Having to give an advice, with this talent and this excellent technique, you can...."dare" more, take some risk sometimes, unleash your talent. Some times ( as in the finale) you're a little too prudent and wise....but EXCELLENT! BRAVO!
Perfect execution but he lacks expressivity especially in the Caprice no.6. Now don't get me wrong when I say he lacks expressivity, he's an excellent violinist with amazing skills but when you play violin the 90% of the opera comes from your heart
@Yes Sir! srry I didn't specify what I meant, I meant string instruments, everything should always have emotion to it and should not be played mechanically and that's actually what holds some people back from not making it in the music world
