Lower Shelf Stones revisited with a good friend

- Here we are on another local wild camp, this time I am joined by Tim who is really great company on these adventures. This video was plagued by multiple failures of the wireless mic system I have bought so I apologise for that. In particular the whiskey reviews we did were unusable as all you could hear was wind :-(
Anyway, the area around Lower and Higher Shelf Stones just keeps delivering and has become one of my favourite areas to hike and camp and is within 2 hours walking distance from my house in Glossop.

Thank you! I have always loved exploring caves so to find one in such an unexpected place is a real find, albeit a very small cave.

Cheers Steve. It's always a great time when Tim is around, he is one of the most easy going, non demanding friends I have ever met. The cave is a bit tricky to negotiate but not creepy in the slightest, you'd be ok I'm sure!
Pretty sure ive been to that wreck before! Looks like a nice stretch, beautiful views! Gotta love a turkish delight, my go to snack too! 😁 xx
It is a very well known wreck and there are always folk there when I have been. Glad you agree about the Turkish Delight, I think they are a bit of a 'marmite' snack to most people!

We did a review but frustratingly the mics failed and there was too much wind noise to hear what we were saying ☹️
Was that last Saturday night and Sunday morning by any chance ? I had the exact same conditions and camped just behind where you was just a bit higher up from Cock Hill next to the stone ruin. Next time i am over that way i will have to check out Ferny Hole.....nice little video thanks.
