Thank you for bringing attention to the fact that standing on the top of that double-decker bus was not as safe (as sitting). Over 2000 minifigs die every year falling off the top of double-decker buses, but nobody is talking about this.
I believe there is a new head for the design team for Lego City and he used to be responsible for Speed Champions. He seems intent on adding complexity without stickers when it's possible which sounds great to me. He also wants the City lines to be better together 👍
I’ve been falling away from Lego as I’ve gotten older, and I have been sad to see Lego City, which was always my favorite, go downhill in my opinion. Glad to see this year’s sets getting better.
I had to go look at the instructions to see how they attached the spinning destination signs. Really fun and simple way to make rotating SNOT bricks! (Step 116 for anyone curious)
This is basically a Ninjago City set from the Seabound season. Jay saved the people on this very same bus when they got submerged in water. 😉 Nice to get crossover sets 🤣
Most of our double decker and for that matter single deck buses are low floor and don't have jutting out bumpers like the old busses. I live in the UK and use them 7 days a week
It feels strange to see a City set with just a bus. I may be remembering it wrong, but I feel like the buses of Lego City line in the past.. more than few years all came in a big and expensive "town/city playset" kinda thing. I'm not 100% sold on the design of the build (colors and shapes of the top section), but it's very cool nonetheless that they did a set with just the bus and people riding it.
Seeing this makes me want to get it myself as well as want to see a minifig scale London Bus tbh, love to see that since I had the other London Bus that does not all minifigs in it, love one that can tbh
I have this and I'm modding it to be 8 studs wide so that it can have more seats and the steps can be 3 wide which is more realistic as far as figs fitting through
Are blue headlights supposed to be representing Xenon headlights? I noticed this change a few years ago and haven’t really understood the change from yellow or clear pieces
I would happily pay 40 or more dollars for this beautiful set if they would have made it longer. although, I will likely buy two and build an extended double axle bus out of the kits. Fun.
Thank you for the review, love this bus 😊 I have one question about a set you didn't review yet: it's about 60408 Car Transporter. I wonder if 3 cars can fit on the upper deck? (and how many on the lower one) 🤔If you read this before acting Jang... 😋
It looks like a nice set, but wondering if you feel it should be wider since it is a bus. It looks six studs wide, which seems a little narrow for a bus.
Not sure if this is intentional but it remi ds me of the Enviro 400 which are used in the Uk, America i think and one of the Asian countries. Quite cool if it was actually a loose inspiration for this set
Nice, for a City set! Though it would have looked much better proportioned if it were 8 studs wide. Like that they use the newer, larger and smoother tires, and the very old ones, ridged, ugly and out of proportion.
Not a fan of this set. It could have been a great set. This one looks too basic compared to the 2018 although this has the micro steps which is good. This new design is meant to the an electric vehicle in the lego world with the new blue headlights lego city uses now which looks horrible along with them making vehicles this year without number plates.
My favorite tour guide /bus driver once said "To the left, you'll see the most expensive hotel rooms coming up." And it was the hospital.
Thank you for bringing attention to the fact that standing on the top of that double-decker bus was not as safe (as sitting).

In The Arms Of An Angel intensifies
@@JANGsLEGOreviews LOL
I really like this set, nearly 400 pieces for $30 with 4.5 minifigures is awesome plus we can always use more buses.
I'm glad they included the stairs inside the bus
The Alien Tourist from the recent Space CMF series would go great with this set, taking photos while on the top deck.
I love it!
It DOES. Was the first thing I added to mine.
Lol... I was just thinking the same thing
This is what I've done haha
Imagine if you had enough to fill all the seats with an alien tour!
That spinning sign on the front is a nice detail
Wish more sets were designed like this one.
It just LOOKS good yet its afordable and well priced.
As a bus driver myself, I approve of this set.
Love this, and I don’t even mind the stickers, they perfectly match real life busses that often have stickers or decals in the exact same places
I believe there is a new head for the design team for Lego City and he used to be responsible for Speed Champions. He seems intent on adding complexity without stickers when it's possible which sounds great to me. He also wants the City lines to be better together 👍
You know what, I actually like how this looks. It reminds me of all the hop-on, hop-off busses I've seen in many places from Copenhagen to Toronto.
dont know why but i'm so so happy about those stairs, might convince me to buy it, just the slightes bit more realistic, love it
I really like all the curves, it looks quite fun and has good color blocking to highlight the splashes of color
I’ve been falling away from Lego as I’ve gotten older, and I have been sad to see Lego City, which was always my favorite, go downhill in my opinion. Glad to see this year’s sets getting better.
Bought 2 of those for € 20,- each, now I have a single decker bus and a closed double decker bus.
This is a really nicely valued set! I’m impressed!
This Year is one of the best, in LEGO City History 👍
This looks like a very nice set. The Lego City line has had some nice vehicles lately.
I had to go look at the instructions to see how they attached the spinning destination signs. Really fun and simple way to make rotating SNOT bricks! (Step 116 for anyone curious)
I swear I love this set
such a clever idea and I like the simple build. It looks like it has some serious MOC potential, maybe for a truck and/or a shop
After the disappointing Star Wars prices, getting a nice city set for a good price is a win I’ll take.
A lot of great details in such a modest set!
The bearded minifig reminds me of Collin Farrell character in Gentlemen.
@@FlymanMS brilliant spot haha
😂😂😂 now I see it
@@FlymanMS maybe due to the cap he has as well.
Same! Immediately thought of that
I only came to the comments to ask if it was just me... I guess not 😂
This set was really fun to put together and easy enough to do without the instructions!
With how wide some 'smaller' cars are, it would be awesome to see an 8 wide bus, allowing for two seats per row.
I recently built this set recently, it's a nice little set. I really like the new baby buggy piece
I added 15 extra passengers to mine, obviously standing room only for some of them.
This is basically a Ninjago City set from the Seabound season. Jay saved the people on this very same bus when they got submerged in water. 😉
Nice to get crossover sets 🤣
That's nice. I am gonna order this tomorrow
Reminds me of of classic town vibe, but with modern standards.
Just finished this set. Love it, it’s pretty roomy considering how narrow it feels. The panel walls on the first floor do a lot of heavy lifting.
I wish that the proportions of these City vehicles could be more like Speed Champiuons, eight studs wide at least.
Aside from the bat ears on the front, which really bother me, the set looks great
Nice review. Might have to pick this one up.

I was waiting for them to release another Lego city bus set since the last one was quite a few years ago so I'm really happy with this set
Getting all these exo force references, really makes me hope we get an Exo force reboot.
New jang bricks videos!!!
Reminds me a lot to some pre 2010's City sets, nice
Will go nice with the London red telephone box great review jang 👍
Seeing this makes me want to get it myself as well as want to see a minifig scale London Bus tbh, love to see that since I had the other London Bus that does not all minifigs in it, love one that can tbh
Fun fact the girl with the camera is Wanda About, from the Lego City No Limits shorts
Having these sets years ago would’ve made my Lego town amazing. Sucks Lego is finally doing sets like these for future builds
I have this and I'm modding it to be 8 studs wide so that it can have more seats and the steps can be 3 wide which is more realistic as far as figs fitting through
The guys with the hat, smartphone and yellow flowery shirt looks exactly like the Irish guy out of The Gentleman.
I'd like to grab two of these and make a bigger bus closer to the scale of speed champions
Are blue headlights supposed to be representing Xenon headlights? I noticed this change a few years ago and haven’t really understood the change from yellow or clear pieces
It's definitely represent xenon or LED.
This is something fresh
I would happily pay 40 or more dollars for this beautiful set if they would have made it longer. although, I will likely buy two and build an extended double axle bus out of the kits. Fun.
Lego's making toys NO MORE?! Ah boy...
They left out the 'u' in Harbour 😜
I feel like there is loads and loads more calue in this in comparison with the world travel map set
Thank you for the review, love this bus 😊 I have one question about a set you didn't review yet: it's about 60408 Car Transporter. I wonder if 3 cars can fit on the upper deck? (and how many on the lower one) 🤔If you read this before acting Jang... 😋
Good stickers for Mocs
I’m not crazy that the wheels are black as well with the bottom of the bus. From a distance it looks like it has no wheels.
It looks like a nice set, but wondering if you feel it should be wider since it is a bus. It looks six studs wide, which seems a little narrow for a bus.
Cool design!
Made to look like a London bus, except which side of the road should it be on ????
I really like this. Prob will get. Many figures, doors, and it's a bus. And that price, yay🎉
I love this! A really nice set.
Great, I’m going to have to buy this set twice. One for me and one for my son!
Don’t know why I bought this but I just like the look of it. Great review again Jang.🇦🇺👍
The cap guy must be Colin Farrel in the Gentlemen
Is it supposed to be a London bus?
Not sure if this is intentional but it remi ds me of the Enviro 400 which are used in the Uk, America i think and one of the Asian countries. Quite cool if it was actually a loose inspiration for this set
Is that a minifig of Colin Farrell as "the coach"?
it looks really similar too red city train
Everything great, but sticker console?
Child me would have LOVED THIS
Great price and great set.
Can we expect more PureBuilds content?
Wheels are comically small! IMO the body needs to be wider
Love the set, love the review
I'm convinced Lego takes a hit on some set prices while overcharging for Ninjago and licensed sets.
Idk if I’m just experiencing Stockholm syndrome with Lego pricing as of late but this set seems like a good deal.
Nice, for a City set! Though it would have looked much better proportioned if it were 8 studs wide.
Like that they use the newer, larger and smoother tires, and the very old ones, ridged, ugly and out of proportion.
Looove the bus
Azure! Nougat! Phew.
$38 to $50 AUD
