You don't need a huge oil pan to catch the fluid coming out - just use the unused hose, hook it to the output of the hydraulic motor, and run it into a pail. That should be pretty obvious...
oil is biodegradable, sun light and water will cause bacteria to devour the oil. The reason you want to catch the oil is because you might have a shallow water well nearby and you do not want to contaminate surface water or drinking water.
Great questions! I bought all the connectors and hoses from tractor supply co, they generally have the best prices on that stuff and it work well. Unfortunately I have sold the tractor and it’s been so long ago now I can’t remember the exact sizes. They are pretty generic and easy to find. Best of luck to you! Thanks for watching!
Luckily I have not however I feel like there is some carb work coming fairy soon lol.. I left the 446 out in a rain storm the other night, today it was running like crap lol.. so not sure if it actually needs carb work or if it just needs to get the water worked out of the system.. finger crossed no carb work needed lol! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Shouldn’t use Teflon tape on anything hydraulic if small bits of the tape get in the lines/ valves it causes problems. Loctite 545 or 569 works great and is what I use on my case fittings and lines. Nice tractor 👍🏼
I have a question for you case 446 guys,I have a 85' 446 that ran great, then suddenly won't get fuel, has new battery & plugs so I put a new fuel filter in and it's getting to the carburetor but still nothing,it starts for a second with carb cleaner but won't stay running, is a a fuel pump or the carb?? I'd appreciate any input, love your channel!
No way! I live in Bikini Bottom too and was wondering why I was seeing a 🌈. I thought it was Mr 🦀’s burying his oil to save a 💵. 😂 Thanks for the videos because I have been looking at buying one of these.
BT - I think you need to shut your pie hole. You probably pollute more when you throw out your latte cup or shampoo your man bun. Buy yourself a new purse. It should make you feel better about him dripping a little oil.

Well it’s too late now😂 you should have left this comment before I made this video. Obviously that would have helped a lot, next time think ahead 🙂

So ? Where do you Live ?? I Think you need a visit from the EPA / DEC !!! All you would of had to do was put the other hose in a bucket !! SFPOS !!
I live in bikini bottom right next to sponge bob square pants. The EPA cleared me! Cheers!
