This is going to be a wacky one, but there may actually be a lore reason for why Mona is so slender and has the “assets” that she does! While everyone is focused on who the Dendro Archon is, let’s have some fun with this wacky, psychological lore!
**I also realize that Ganyu has a lore reason too, because apparently there is a scene in her side-quest where Cloud Retainer explains that Qilin only eat grains and drink water. What a healthy and horrific diet!

I myself have a headcannon about why Yoimiyas kimono doesn't cover one of her sides. It is because, in fact, her kimono is broken on that side, probably by some tree branch while climbing. She doesn't have the funds to repair it nor get a new one because of how expensive silk has become after the Sakoku decree and what with her being a commoner, so she doesn't pay it much attention since there are others likely on her same situation, and is waiting on Sakoku to be abolished to be able to afford new clothing

As you said vision barriers can use teleport waypoints, but since monas vision was gifted by the old woman and NOT the gods/Celestia, it makes sense that she, not a true vision bairer, wouldn't be able to use them. Her hydro abilities are that of without the vision, now I have no clue what parts are vision and what parts are the hydromancy.

thanks for making this video! I always had a sorta love hate design with Mona because though she was my first 5 star n i love the colours used for her design, the fanservice n questionable art there is of her out there of her sorta soured my perception of her so this video really helped to open my eyes on why she was designed the way she was n helped me gleam more insight on her chara since I haven't unlocked her story quest yet

I headcanon that Mona is thin since she want to be The Azure Witch of Aqua XD. She has to be as thin as possible to merge with water (just like La Signora). Remember what Oceanid said? The power of water is the ability to take any shape. XD
