@@mirellabujaico9096 One of Rebels Season 2, I believe where they venture forth into a forgotten Jedi temple. It's the one where Kanan,Ahsoka and Ezra all split off for their own respective lessons.
it's heartbreaking because it's true, Ahsoka DID abandon Anakin and Rex AND the entire 501st when she left, and if she had stayed then Anakin would have had her to confide in and she would have saved him from Palpatine's false visions, Ahsoka had to live with what happened to Fives and Tup and all the others who died after she left and the question of if they'd have lived if she had stayed and now she had to live knowing that EVERYTHING that happened. the fall of the republic the destruction of the jedi and the birth of the empire could have ALL been prevented by her if she had just stayed and THAT is why she stays and confronts Vader because she understands what her cowardice caused and refuses to do so again, either she would save her brother or she would die but she'd know she did EVERYTHING to save him
In my opinion, this relationship is the most tragic in the star wars universe. Just listen to ahsoka's theme. It samples from luke's theme, anakin's son. Ahsoka is a skywalker; an adopted one, yes, but a skywalker nonetheless. Like luke and leia, even ben solo, part of anakin lives on through her, in the form of teachings, guidance, and a familial relationship. Ahsoka is a skywalker, and one of the greatest at that.
She is the last Skywalker, the last Jedi, and much more deserving of the title. (I did the math and turns out by the end of ROSW Ahsoka could live another hundred years) that would make an amazing sequel trilogy.
She is also one of the most persistent. She was a padawan at the time of episode 2 and lived through the clone wars, was in the rebellion until the fall of the empire, in the time of Mandos story she is grown up and fighting... I look forward to her getting her own spinoff
Imagine if Rex was in the Season 2 finale of Rebels: Vader and Ahsoka are locked in a battle that neither one thought would happen...or wish to happen. Ahsoka is kicked down by Vader, her lightsabers rolling out of her hands. Vader steps towards her to strike her down. It had to be done. No more painful reminders of Anakin Skywalker. As he lifts his saber, Vader senses a presence he has't sensed since...the Clone Wars. He looks up. There, in worn and beaten clone armor, stood an old Captain Rex. Vader slowly lowers his saber as Rex removes his helmet. His face is a mix of pain and sadness. His eyes are starting to tear up. Vader: Captain Rex. Rex (devastated): General... Vader: I thought all clones followed Order 66. Rex: A fallen brother warned me. Vader: A good solider follows orders. Rex: Yes sir, a good soldier follows orders... Rex looks at Ahsoka. Rex (looking back at Vader): A great one, however, does what's right. With that, he draws one of his blasters and aims it at Vader. Vader stares at him. Vader: Captain...you have heart. Join me and we can lead the Empire to glory. Rex (voice breaking): I'm sorry, general...but those days...are over. Vader: Indeed they are. Vader charges at Rex, who does the same to Vader. Vader swings. Rex ducks, socks Vader in the chest, spins and backs off, and fires at Vader. Vader, recovering from the blow, deflects the shots. He deflects one right at Rex, who shoulder rolls to dodge it. Vader force chokes Rex, who grunts. Vader throws him down, knocking his blaster away. Rex reaches for it, but Vader merely forces it away. Rex looks at his old general. Tears are in his eyes. Vader raises his saber. Rex closes his eyes. Sabers clash. Rex opens his eyes. Ahsoka saved him. Rex gets up and grabs his blaster. Ahsoka forces Vader away. Rex joins Ahsoka. Vader looks at two of his former closest allies...and friends. Rex (to Ahsoka): One last time? Ahsoka: One...last...time. Edit: Okay, I know the whole "edit" thing is cringe, but this kinda got more likes than I thought. Because of the positive responses, I'm currently developing a script for this (most likely live action as I don't have any knowledge on animating WHATSOEVER!). 😂 Appreciate the responses! Hopefully the film will pack an even BIGGER punch than this (assuming I make one). Again, thanks!

I absolutely love how Across the Stars is mixed into this as well. While it was meant for Anakin and Padme you can't deny that him and Ahsoka loved each other just as much in the platonic sibling/father-daughter way. It's a bittersweet addition because his love has been completely destroyed while it's Ahsoka's love for him that pushes her to fight to avenge the man and master she held so dear.
Imagine if we had gotten this scene in live action with Hayden or in more clone wars art style and with this music the combination of battle of heroes and other great pieces that says Anakin Skywalker and his old life

Jedi attempting to end a galactic war is trying to keep the peace, I don't understand the difference between a "peacekeeper" and "soldier" in this context.😂
@@atla_744 there are ways with treaties but there has to be co-operation from both sides. the example (Even though it is a poor one) would have been Mandalore a Neutral/ Pacifist system under Duchess Satine but then they couldn't have maintained peace because of the opposing groups like deathwatch and republic who wanted to occupy Mandalore. another system could be Naboo who have treaties and have little to no separatist or republic occupation.
Your daily dose of Clone Wars quotes: “Those men may be willing to die, but I am not going to be the one who kills them.” - Ashoka “I used to think being a good soldier meant doing everything they told you.” - Rex “Us clones have mixed feelings about the war. Some wished it never happened, but without it, well, we wouldn’t exist.” - Rex “How can I be a failure when I never even got my chance? That’s a chance that you’re throwing away. You’re always trying to be the anchor, well maybe you should embrace the fact that you have a team, see I never had that.” - 99 “In my books, experience outranks everything.” - Rex “Every choice made, has lead to this moment...” - Maul “This is wrong, and we all know it. We are men, we must be trusted to make the right decisions, especially when the orders we are given are wrong!” - Fives
This music so perfectly captures the goodness, passion, loyalty, and zeal that defined these characters. Especially Anakin, who felt all of these things so intensely. I can only imagine how things would have turned out if Ahsoka had never left. No one understood him like she did, not even Padmé. Thank you Samuel. Your music consistently touches me and increases my ability to feel the emotional and spiritual pieces of Star Wars.
Ahsoka was the healthiest person for Anakin. They never really talked about how much they loved each other. This is beautiful and tragic. Thank you so much for posting it 🙏🏻♥️
Samuel, I cannot tell you how much I absolutely appreciate that minor addition of Across the Stars here. It is so appropriate, because it is a love theme and Anakin and Ahsoka loved each other - not in the romantic sense, love is more than just that, but in the Master-Padawan/Found Family sense. And acknowledging that Anakin did have more to his life and did care about more people than _just Padme_ is really satisfying for me and makes his fall all the more tragic. Thank you so much. Darth Vader killed his love, his apprentice and the whole jedi temple. He thought that it's too late for him. But his son didn't and he was right. "Tell your sister: you was right."
Clone Wars really improve the Prequel by so many levels. I always think that the Prequel suffers from many branches of story. There are many stories need to be told by the Prequel; the corruption of the senate, the decays and rift of the Jedi Order, Palpatine's scheme, the Clone war itself, Anakin and Obi-wan relation, Padme and Anakin, Anakin's relationships with the Jedi Order, etc. It is very difficult to cram all these stories into three movies, except you are Peter Jackson and the series you make is the Lord of the Rings. Lucas is a man with great vision, but most of us agree that he is not good in details. Clone Wars brings Star Wars Saga full circle. Every words Obi-wan told Luke in ANH comes true. "He was the best pilot in the galaxy. A cunning warrior. And he is a good friend."
3:18 to 6:26 bring me tears to my eyes.... Flashes of Anakin teaching Ahsoka, talking with her, being like a father and a master at the same time... and Ahsoka understanding his pain and doubts... and finally sensing his fate and transformation in... someone who she doesn't know any more. Thanks for this mix man. It's very special ❤️
I had tears in my eyes when i heard the music. I have a allmost photograpic memory so i was getting flashes from the scenes from the series from your musice the whole time. Thank you.
This relationship between master and apprentice really showed in these two. Kind almost between Obi wan and Qui Gon. The sadness Obi felt when Maul killed Qui Gon. Almost the same as when Anakin has to watch Ashoka leave. Obi Wan suffered so much loss....and Anakin suffered the same fate. Both of them along with Ashoka are legends in Star Wars. 👍

@@imperialspecialforce5769 I know that's the point. And my conclusion from that is that Anakin is the biggest jackass in galactic history and everything bad that happened to him was his fault and well deserved. He betrays everyone who ever cared about him because had had a bad dream and some guy told him a story about a sith who basically died because despite his power, he didn't have people he could trust so he was betrayed by his apprentice. The most moving, the most emotional, the most brilliant of any of the Star Wars music ever. It not only showcases Samuel Kim's talent but also John Williams' genius in writing as well. Three distinctly different themes interwoven to produce that feeling of abject emotional emptiness felt especially by Ahsoka ; at the end.... "All for what'?" Something for anyone to take to heart before thinking there is any "good war" in modern times....the few always profit and prosper. Thank you for that lesson Emperor Palpatine and George Lucas.
honestly i have never gone from inspired and feeling like i could take on the world to crying myself unconscious as quickly as i did when Ahsokas theme transitioned to Anakins suffering
The theme surrounding Ahsoka and Anakin at the end of Clone Wars is the best music in Star Wars History. And the only time The fanfare was not used after the show concluded. Perfect.
They are standing back to back to represent their closeness. They are standing back to back to show that they are going in completely opposite directions.
"A great student is what the teacher hopes to be" -TCW (season 3 episode 22) Anakin hoped to be as great as Qui-Gonn, but instead his path has changed and Ahsoka became the Jedi Anakin wanted to be.
I watched this series as a kid... seven, maybe eight. Ahsoka was my roll model, she's who I wanted to be. She's everything I wasn't: brave, headstrong, rebellious, and I needed her. Now seven years later and I watched season seven. It broke me. I had rewatched the season five finale, and I honestly cried watching Ahsoka leave. I didn't know how to feel... But she was still a role model to me, even more so. Because she had the courage to leave a situation she couldn't stand being in. And that saved her life. I could go on about how much I'd like to simultaneously kiss Filoni and burn all of his hats, but instead I will just say... This show has shaped me into the person I am today and I thank Star Wars for that.
I cried while listening to this. Just thinking about their shattered bond... The memories... The terrors ahsoka went through for like 15 years, Trying to bury the thought of Anakin turning to the dark, the conflict she suffered, the pain she would relive in her mind of leaving the order, what became of anakin after she left, and even reliving burying the 331st...
Anakin and Ahsoka were so close, like brother an sister. Clone Wars makes Anakin's fall so much more tragic. Also the music is absolutely beautiful. Also, I noticed the Across the Stars an Battle of the Heroes thrown in.
Despite Star Wars Rebels not being that "great" you gotta admit that there are some amazing moments in the show. I love the series. I love Star Wars. It's my childhood and seeing these two fight was so amazing. I love it. Thank you for making this. You inspire me to do this stuff. Keep working hard.
After rewatching The Clone Wars and Rebels back to back, I've decided that they are both on par with each other. Animation budget not withstanding. The emotions invoked by each are equal in power, and to me, that is what counts...

Live Action Ahsoka Tano TV Show... Just wow. Never thought I'd see this come to pass. I am slightly confliced on this because I also wanted to get an animated show with Ashley that is a Rebels sequel and I am guessing this is what we're getting instead. I am mainly interested in the story and with it being live action, it will probably have a higher budget so that is a good thing. Plus, Rosario did an amazing job as Ahsoka and I am sure she'll nail it again. Still, I really want more of Ashley's Ahsoka as well. Hopefully she'll appear in the Bad Batch though if she does, I am guessing she will have a rather small role in it. Will the Ahsoka show begin after we last saw her in the Mandalorian? That seems most likely to me but I am guessing we might see some flashbacks and get more backstory on what happened to Ahsoka in-between Rebels and The Mandalorian. The World between Worlds logo implies to me that we might learn more about her time on Malachor after Twilight of the Apprentice, which I think up to this day remains one of the greatest mysteries sourounding this character. Clearly Thrawn will play an important role in that show given the exposition we were given in the Mandalorian and I am guessing so will Ezra. Given how they announced this one big story event that will resolve the storylines of all these shows, Thrawn might end up being the main antagonist, perhaps Moff Gideon is indeed working with him in some manner. All of you Ahsoka fans should check out the following video on RUclips: Ahsoka Tano - The Journey, feel like you might appreciate it given all that is to come!

While it was meant for Anakin and Padme you can't deny that him and Ahsoka loved each other just as much in the platonic sibling/father-daughter way. “Those men may be willing to die, but I am not going to be the one who kills them.” - Ashoka
“I used to think being a good soldier meant doing everything they told you.” - Rex
“Us clones have mixed feelings about the war. Some wished it never happened, but without it, well, we wouldn’t exist.” - Rex

This music so perfectly captures the goodness, passion, loyalty, and zeal that defined these characters. Especially Anakin, who felt all of these things so intensely. I can only imagine how things would have turned out if Ahsoka had never left. No one understood him like she did, not even Padmé.

"All for what'?"
Something for anyone to take to heart before thinking there is any "good war" in modern times....the few always profit and prosper.
