I can just SEE Anakin/Darth Vader marching. With conviction in his heart and blood on his hands. Marching up the steps of the Temple. Pacing the catwalks on Mustafar. Nearly drunk on the power he had always before held back, his fate is irrevocably changed. And to meet that Darkness, rises Light. Obi Wan using Padme to track Anakin, finding his brother all but consumed by Vader, and regretfully resorting to the painful duty of fighting him. This song is an absolute masterpiece. May John Williams will always be celebrated.
I had no idea that the track ‘Battle of the heroes’ was preluded by so many tracks. I mean it makes perfect sense the song only goes for 4 mins and the final scene is longer than that. But still, extra epic

This was the apex of John Williams' career. You can tell that he FELT the story of the prequels!
I literaly was looking for this version 5 years and now I found it
thanks for this incredible mix
Why do they release a separate version for the cs version. Why can’t they just use the original soundtrack?
@@germophobic5407the film versions are usually the rough cuts of a song, and the ones they put on the official released soundtrack are more polished and finished..so the reason movie mixes sound better are because those are the raw and rough versions lol
Never delete this please. It's the ultimate version.
No plans to as long as I live! I made this video more or less out of complete boredom, and it has absolutely floored me to see how many people have viewed/loved this version. If you told me a few years ago that this video was going to garner over 3 million views, I would have laughed. Yet here this little boredom-born project stands. Thank you so much for the support!
If RUclips forces you to delete this, then we'll stand by side with you during war
is this good to listen in school as teacher full of kids?
Why are you full of kids?

In this 14 minutes there is more action and excitement then in all of the sequels
passion vs no passion
At least I *felt* something watching the prequels
@@Mr.Needle-Hamster I felt something watching the sequels, however that feeling was annoyance and irritation, similar to how sand makes Anakin feel...
this is very highly underappreciated and i needed this so much, thank you!
Thank you so much! This was a lot of fun to put together :)
4:48 I don't even know what it is, but when that deeper point kicks in its just goosebumps everytime. This hasn't even happened to me with another piece before where it's that consistent, like I can rewind ten seconds, come back, and it's still going crazy. John Williams is an absolute genius, and I fricking love how much he put into this franchise. He's the make or break and it was definitely a make!
@10:24 “I have failed you Anakin, I have failed you”
“I should’ve known the Jedi were plotting to take over”
“Anakin, chancellor Palpatine is evil!”
“From my point of view the Jedi are evil”
“THEN YOU ARE LOST!”
This dialogue hits so deep
this is the end for you, my master.
It's over Anakin I have the high ground
You underestimate my power
Don't try it
"I have failed you Anakin, I have failed you."
"I should have known that Trump colluded with Russia"
"Anakin, the mainstream media is evil!"
"From my point of view, America is evil."
"THEN YOU ARE LOST!"
No matter who controls Star Wars narratively, they can never ruin John Williams’ music. An enduring gift for all us fans.
7:58 that part for me does hurt the most, the clash of brothers, the lava rising at the background and this part of the music just...a storm of emotion rushing through me, it's the best movie for me
This movie is a masterpiece. Soundtrack, avengers level of epic action. My favorite Star Wars movie easily and I have no problem saying that
beyond avengers
4:40 this whole section (especially the part where Yoda and Palpatine fight while entering the Senate area) is the best battle music of all time
10:25 “I have failed you, Anakin. I have failed you.”
"I should've known the jedi were plotting to take over!"
The choir in all of these songs always bring chills
One of the best and emotional lightsaber duel ever because Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi fought in the clone wars together and When Obi Wan said Anakin was his brother that he loved him was sad 😢
Guys seeing this video get to 4 million views is absolutely astounding. I made this video on a whim out of absolute boredom one day, and seeing how far it has gotten is absolutely mind boggling. I thank each and every person who stops in to listen, each and every person who adds it to their playlist, and each and every person who leaves a comment. It means more than you know. I’m sorry I haven’t made anything else substantial since this video, I feel like I’m supposed to, I just haven’t gotten any ideas, lol. You guys are awesome.
Howdy Matey.
yeag its a really nice edit, thanks a lot
11:33 so heartbreaking
Even to those who have never seen the movie

So amazingly scored and acted. God i love Star Wars
One of the greatest cinematic battles on the big screen.
It is physically impossible to listen to this as a Star Wars fan without getting chills, goosebumps, hyped, even almost tearing up.
10:44 This part always gave me the chills man, As obi wan looks horrified at what anakin has become, from the hero of the clone wars to a murderer.
"this is the end for you my master"
I miss this era of Star Wars. Back when it had passion put into it and not for the sole purpose of capitalizing off of the name.
so you mean before disney, thats just a fact, and facts like that are sad, old star wars in the cinemas was so fucking powerfull
@Blushing Saikawa fucking zoomer
@Blushing Saikawa I miss 2011
@MuffetSpiderCoffelol the prequels were absolutely political
@@davidbronson364 idiotic comment. They had their own in-world politics within them. Far different to what we have today which is fictional films trying to push a real life non fictional political narrative and agenda. You’re unbelievably stupid.

After watching obi wan kenobi, this song brings a whole new feel to the aftermath of order 66.
It's sad to see Obi-Wan in such a sad and broken state. To go from almost untouchable in Ep 3 to where he is now is is depressing, and really showing of the PTSD he has from 10 years ago. Hoping to see his character development bring him back closer to where he was!
Mustafar was once a prosperous and thriving planet. John Williams set it on fire 🔥 🔥
This is probably the best fight scene music I’ve ever known
Anyone else watching the fight between kenobi and Vader in the series with battle of the heroes playing? makes it 1000x better!! huge opportunity they missed out on!! XD
Perhaps I am still watching after that fight
There is actually a great fan edit of it where they used the music! It’s so good!
I disagree. The music created for the show was very fitting
@@Spacebattler for real. Nostalgia baiting is wearing me down
Well it ain't a Battle of the Heroes.
So I can't be the only one that was playing the whole movie in my head right. Like I was even playing the parts
It also hapend to me
"YOU WERE MY BROTHER ANAKIN! I LOVED YOU!" "I HATE YOU!" to this day... remembering that conversation, and how it happened on the screen.. seeing the pain in Obi-wan's eyes... hurt. Star wars (bar the newest entries to the series) is one of the greatest works of art, ever created. then and now.
That beat transition at 7:21 was so smooth to be honest with you
11:14 "It's over, Anakin! I have the high ground!"
When duel of the fates sneaks in during the fight my god the goosebumps
Its insane 🗿
I can see the entire battle just listening to this
You were my brother Anakin, I loved you!. ..Gets me every time
Once you have experienced betrayal/abandonment in your life, this track and scene just hits just so much harder.
Who’s watching this epic scene when it comes back in theatres for its 20th anniversary!
Wait! It's coming back to Theaters?! Really?!!! 😮😃😃😃 I will be watching Star Wars Episode III in theaters for its 20th anniversary
Any version of Anakin's Betrayal and Battle of the Heroes give me chills and get me way too emotional.
Awesome, I still remember May 2005 like it were yesterday!
That transition from Anakin vs. Obi-Wan to Duel of the Fates... *chef's kiss* Perfection.
that music when they swinging their lightsaber so fast then force vs force using their hands its so tingling makin my body shaking
Its quite easy to do actually, if u want more info on it just search “Obi-Ani lightsaber spin” and a tutorial will pop up. Its pretty fun
I had no idea that the track ‘Battle of the heroes’ was preluded by so many tracks. I mean it makes perfect sense the song only goes for 4 mins and the final scene is longer than that. But still, extra epic
Personally, I never even noticed that Duel of the Fates played during the final battle until a friend pointed it out to me. I was just so enthralled that I never noticed. Now, it’s one of my absolute favorite parts of the song.
@@xenomorphic7887 omg same, however I did notice the Imperial March part cuz Yoda vs Sidious was starting as a slow fight

I did it while listening to this.

And then I listened to this for a bit while doing pantheon 5.
I got to duel of the fates bit at the 40th boss, nkg, and it was EPIC. Sadly I died but ah well
Without a doubt, the best soundtrack that has ever been created in the history of cinema for a movie is that of Star Wars.
My favorite 15 minutes in any form of cinema. The conflict that the whole trilogy has been building towards and it's the greatest fight in the entire saga, then throw this masterpiece of a score over it. It's magical. You can't imagine this scene without the music
Anakin: "You turned her against me!"
Obi-Wan: "No, Anakin, she's literally facing you right now"
Epic plot twist.
"I HATE YOU!!!!" - Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith.
Maaaaan... I can literally quote this entire movie
When Yoda dropped his walking cane and hold is heart hearing his fellow Jedi getting slaughtered, I felt that….
This is where the fun begins
Maaan, I remember when this finally hit theaters almost 20 years ago, I was so stoked to see what really happened between Anakin and Obi Wan!!!! Just the suspense, the excitement and the heartbreak all at the same time was insane!!! So many people bashed the prequels, but I will take episodes 1, 2, and 3 all day any day and everyday over 7,8, and 9 because Star Wars will never be this dark again as it was in Revenge of the Sith with the exception of Rogue One!!!
Officially part of my morning routine, listening to this suite as I plot my day
"LET HER GO ANAKIN! LET HER GO!"
"YOU TURNED HER AGAINST ME!"
"FUCKING WHAT?! YOU WERE JUST STRANGLING HER! "
"YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER FROM ME!"
"Dude... your eyes are even evil, what are we even talking about here?"
He was high.
