Notes: The original list was 39 games long.
I decided to leave out games which are not officially revealed yet such as the multiplayer Horizon games and anything Insomniac are working on outside of Wolverine.
I also removed games which are, seemingly, no longer in development such as KOTOR, Last of US Factions and Project Awakening (although I forgot to remove a shot in the intro of this, sorry)

If the combat system they shown in phantom blade is promising I’ll definitely buy that game on day one.
Lost soul aside is definitely my most anticipated. Looks a lot like Devil May cry and Bayonetta and we need more games like them.
Most hyped for DS2, Wolverine, Stellar Blade and that game with 0 on the end, I already forget it name😅

I actually play tested the full game of Stellar blade back in October at Sony, it’s around 20 hours long and some of the boss fights and mechanics are brilliant

Got my eye on the Last of Us 2, FF7, Silent Hill 2, Phantom Blade. Other than those I'm really just lookin at Outlaws & Exekiller, both non exclusive. Stellar Blade in English might catch my attention.....

This year looks really promising as a ps5 owner. For me, yakuza infinite wealth and tekken 8 this month. And then FF7 rebirth, rise of the ronin, stellar blade.

microsoft only focused on buying studio and milking game pass quality exclusives is not thier cup of tea better to get pc for gamepass, ps5 and switch for quality exclusives
@aganbraganca4156 I cancelled gamepass. There was alot of shovelware and recycled content on there. After I had played through gears, which was mediocre, the old Halos which were great and burned out on Forza nothing interested me. I wanted Redfall to be good and it was awful Starfield or the Bethesda games outside if the Id software games aren't my thing. Still playstation games just suit me better. Nintendo games don't appeal to me.
So many games, and that doesn't even include the first party studios

Some amazing looking games here, Rise of the Ronin looks amazing. I've already pre-ordered FFVII Rebirth, and I'd love to see a third Horizon Dawn game, though I must admit I haven't brought the second one yet because Aloy looks so much less attractive than she did in Horizon Zero dawn. And yep I've just added Infinite Nikki to my watch list because I'm a sucker for a pretty girl.

Although I'm still on PS4 so got move up to PS5 if I wany to play some lol I also need to go and play Death Stranding at some point.
Not going to say anything about the game itself, not played it. But why is LToU2 getting a remaster? Like why? It's not been that long. It's slowly becoming Naughtydog's Skyrim.

@@spookyo0423 it's one of the best franchises, obviously they choose which ones to Remaster, such as Fallen Order, No Man's Sky, Resident Evil 2, 3 & 7, Cyberpunk, FF7, A Plague Tale, to name a few. Notice not every game got a Remaster. I for 1 am looking forward as i havnt played part 2 & am on my 2nd run through of Part 1 now. Don't like it don't buy it

(*edit: one of the) Best franchise is questionable, that applies for any game, even the ones I love, (*edit: as everyone as different preferences, best is subjective). TLoU is successful though. I say for 4yrs it's a bit pointless and not really worthwhile, especially for those who already played the original game (which you said you haven't). I've only played TLoU1 remaster on PS4, as I never owned a PS3 until a couple of years ago.
RE2(3 and 4) is a remake, not a remaster (*edit: RE2's PS5 version is not sold separately, it's included with the PS4 now, same for upgrade) . Remaster is basically the same game with a glow up and some tweaks and edits. A remake is basically building a game from scratch, which is why RE2(PS1) and RE2(PS4) are different in many ways. It makes sense here, as how many players still have access to a console (PS1, PS2, PS3) that can play PS4 games? It can make sense in some ways for remasters, especially when porting to a different system, like Gravity Rush. I believe the PS Vita had unique features not available for PS4. However, gameplay wise, there wouldn't be such drastic changes between PS4 gameplay to PS5 by like haptic controls are whatever it's called. It's often quite tiring though see remasters (and remakes) made for the same game constantly on every generation since launch yet older beloved games with high demand for remakes get ignored for generations (or a demand for sequels). It's why I was more excited to play some PS1 remakes on the PS4 than Mass Effect's remaster (still not played), even though I love Mass Effect.
Plus, spookyo never said they disliked the game, as I haven't either (before you say that).

The older I get the less interested I am in single player games. Most of them anyway, cyberpunk and star wars are amazing. I enjoy couch co-op with my kid, and co-op online multiplayer after that. Helldivers II looks kinda like resistance 3 from the PS3 era, though not looking as feature rich somehow... hrm. Will have to wait for gameplay reviews. Hope it has a co-op campaign.
Wolverine could be fun, but going from the leaked gameplay I hope they take another year or so to polish it up.
I decided to save my money and get 3 month of PlayStation plus.on next month.
