I started as an artist and in the middle of becoming a hybrid as I learned more business skills, but I still want to do what I love which is music, and Im glad Im learning and meeting people that are helping me level up my craft and my business, thank you Alex for this great video! The lesson Im getting here is to continue making the best product aka my music and visual art skills in order to get word of mouth referrals that will scale my marketing and brand
This was awesome. As an artist, can you do another video that dives deep into just the artist to hybrid part? That would be really helpful - especially as many artists (esp creatives) get stuck in just doing the thing.
This is gold! I’m right in the middle of being an artist and entrepreneur. I love my craft as an online fitness coach but the longer I’m an entrepreneur the more I’m falling in love with business.
Finally we have someone who talk about business with real passion. I have retired from business 2 years ago. Listening to Alex makes me feel I want to reenter the business world.😅
After a certain point, some of us stop counting. I stopped doing birthday celebrations a decade ago and there was a time when I literally forgot how old I was. Here's a tip for you younger folks. If you stay on top of your health and fitness, after 30 you pretty much feel about the same every year after that for about 30 more years. It amazes me that at 50 people think I can't do certain things and younger guys are usually blown away when I can out work and out lift them in the gym. Just like there are self limiting beliefs around money, there are also about age and health.
One of the more relatable videos you have posted, love how you incorporated art and business. It helped me better conceptualize my career path as an artist to gauge how much time and effort I want to put into the business side. Watching this made me realize I want to focus on the art and delegate tasks where I lack in. Much love and keep up the good work!
Man I really love this perspective. I’m in the entrepreneur boat, I really love the business aspects. But I’ve been feeling stuck and not getting started because I’ve felt like I need to be the artist to build a business around it.
I asked for this video a few weeks ago. And got it! Thanks for listening to your audience and making them great content!! Gotta go hit the calves only workout ✌️
Thank you Alex for this video. Your advice is incredibly helpful for people like me who want to get into business but have no idea how any of it works.
OMG Alex. You cannot imagine how much you've helped me with this video. Not just you, I also wanna thank to Leila and a whole team too. Recently I've been thinking to start my own business. And you've just helped me to realise that my conditioned mindset was trying force me into the path of the artist, because of my background. But actually I have a clear desire and skill set for being an entrepreneur. Thank you for sharing this perspective, it gave me so much clarity. Thank you very much
I’m so excited. I’ve been doing the art for long enough now in the luxury market. I’ve developed my product and it’s amazing. My clients are going to help boost it because it hasn’t officially launched yet they are already asking for more. Hybrid is the way for me right now thank you for clearing it up so I know how to structure it better.
So well put. Alike Michel Gerber's "The E-Myth Revised" out of a 100% of the business venture characteristics that add up in a person or team - The Technician 70% (Artist), The Manager +20% (Hybrid), and The Entrepreneur +10% (Samezies) 👌🔥

Question: i made a career ladder like you did about Jay Z. I need some advice(from you or anyone else). Goal: entrepreneurship. But i need the skills first. Im in marketing (and media procurement) and want to make my next step. What should my next step be?? -Productmanager: i see opportunities in business/product and i realise that more growth lies in the product. - Procurement in a big B2B company so after hard work i could switch to sales and then im in a sales departement with a lot of money.(i want commission) - Sales: Start at the bottom somewhere and work my way up? After one of these 3 steps i have the knowledge to start a business. What would you guys suggest?
Thanks! I tried to figure out the path and I could not find my passion except business. I am still young, so there aren't that many things I am skilled at.
It seems like I would choose the 100% entrepreneur path cause I like the structures and coming up with different solutions for businesses, seeing metrics, and making math ( So far only in my head ) I tried so many of the artist stuff and it seems like I cannot get anything but like the idea of business in general, BUT I am only 17 Y.o what shall I do in terms of developing on the businesses skills in general, I mean which work I need to do now and how I can provide value for people right now .
Alex I’m 35… I had reasonably big success in my 20s before it got externally sabotaged and tanked. I’m now back in the drivers seat of a new project, which brings all the lessons from that decade of highs and lows, but with my heart involved, and really creating something I love rather than just for money which was a mask I wore without knowing it. I don’t have capital, I live in Bali and have a very young family, and I’ve found it really challenging to find my A-team to bring what I’m developing to life. Capital (and I don’t need much) and a COO would create serious momentum. Any advice?
its like you know exactly what video to create with the exact answers I need to help me out of the situation I'm stagnating my entrepreneurial progression
I’m currently 15 and i don’t really have hobbies besides making money (prob why i have no friends), but i feel like building businesses is my hobby which route should i pursue?
I appreciate your work alex! Im interested in how you script, record and what time you plan for your youtube channel. I would love to see a video where you break that down.
Elon Musk is one of the biggest Hybrids out there. He's crazy good at entrepreneurship but in all his preneurs he always have huge influence in engineering
And I'm 33. I burst out laughing at that. Not because the topic was comical. It's actually exceptionally inspiring. But something about his delivery there was just so funny.
Thank you so much! You helped me figure out that I’d love to go hybrid once I become a plastic surgeon. I love this career but I also want to build my own company :)
I'm 18 about to enter college and going to take computer science. I would like to know how to learn entrepreneurship skills, how to apply them and how can the business skills that I'll achieve be applied with my computer science teachings! Any help appreciated
But for example you book, how’d you get it in front op people to start with? Just Amazon for example? I like and see how it would propel. For me it’s music and consciousness content. Doing pretty well in both, skill wise, I am actually now getting into the phase where as an ‘artist’ I am getting it in front of other people. Exciting times!
Could start off by making Race content on RUclips. Go to race events, interview people and ask them to show you their car etc. There's a market for everything.
Lots of ways. Start a limosine service and you focus on marketing and hire other drivers. Or start a trucking company or moving/hauling company using business credit to buy the trucks and you hire it all out and manage/market it. Transportation is a huge industry
I personally believe that we don't have t o do what we love. May be it is better to do what we hate. And actually process of learning something is not we would like. Because it's painful, but after mastering and having some comfort in certain field we finally become able to love to do the thing.
It is not inherent that the "artist" will make more money or enough money to live on. If you love the thing you're doing then you are willing to take less because it doesn't cost you more in the intangibles.
Alex - I love what you do and how you do it. Maybe this question is out of line in this type of platform. If so, skip it. I'm starting out but have a what is probably a bad idea. It's an education program for people who are struggling with credit card debt. I can't figure out how to make sufficient money with a target audience that doesn't have much. Giving it away for free won't work for reasons you've gone over in other posts. But they are clearly hurting. I know I was when I went through it. How do I think through this? (Or is it a non-starter because of the target audience?) Thanks, A Rookie
I’m starting a car cleaning company soon that will be £25 per month for us to clean their car in an hr. How can I give give give as said in ur previous vids/anything I can apply to boost the business from the get go?
I'm 13 I've been working out for 2yrs, and I wanted to share all of my knowledge. Alex, I was wondering if you could tell me what I should of to grow my fitness channel?
Regarding what you said about tiers of advice, I don't think a coach in the "been there done that" category is the best person for advice. The best coaches in sports usually trained many champions but cannot compete at the highest level themselves. And world champions who later become coaches almost never become world-class coaches. This is because being able to do and being able to teach are 2 different skills.
Alex has the gift of making everything so simple, it's simply brilliant.
Does it have his source for testosterone?
Yes brilliant it is, time well spent diving that much deeper into understanding. Thought engineering. Blackbox to individual components level.
That’s what great sales people do
Keep it simple, people who overcomplicate things oftentimes get lost in the complexity.
Most helpful channel on RUclips for entrepreneurs. Can't thank you enough!

This video helped me so much man! Can't thank you enough for all the value you're providing Alex. Wish you de best bro❤
I love how he sounded unconvinced that he is actually 33
No he was emphasizing how it’s crazy that he’s had so many businesses at only 33

Same I'm also a business minded artist

I asked for this video a few weeks ago. And got it! Thanks for listening to your audience and making them great content!!

Alex has a gift of explaining concepts in a relatable and practical way
Thank you so much for all the free content Alex. It's truly life changing, thank you.
We stand on the shoulders of giants!, Alex you are that giant. Absolutely grateful to be able to listen to your knowledge DAILY! keep it up mate!
Damn. Checked out your stuff. Really good, keep going 👊
Man your ahead of your time. I appreciate how you made business into a art. Thank you for this video.
Thanks so much for sharing this with us 🙏
Thank you for doing this video without profanity! So much better. Great advice.

I feel like alex hormozi's main advice is after leverage, and volume, is that word of mouth is so good because of the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon.
I love engaging via the comments in a heart grabbing way that creates memorable moments in time in the hearts of those I'm composing the comment for.
This hit HOME GIANT FOR ME…. LFG THANK you Alex and your team!!!

Im an artist at heart, and I love business, but I'm extremely impatient and I can't tell what the best method for growth is at the moment.
Would love more videos about these 3 routes and how to money in each

Sales -> Marketing -> Product is such a simply powerful framework.
Pure artist in other words... Proverbs 18:16...A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men.
