@@owstonlad3859 A chance would be a fine thing... but I only ever bought near-mint-excellent condition 45s, however rare. Even as a kid I looked after my records properly - and kept them well away from my kid sister! :-)

You know it is a big dig when it gets light by the time you've finished. What a fantastic bunch of finds. There is always a touch of regret about the ones you might've missed but like you said, you can't just buy the lot when others are also looking as well. Just not the done thing. Really enjoyed the video. John sent me over after his video. All the best, Steve.
You did alright there mate. Now worth £425 ,the one copy on Discogs. I think I’d have cried if I’d have seen all those records just dumped in bags like that.
A guy had £250k of northern soul records stolen. He has a reward of £14k for there return or If you know who stole them. So to find some on a Boot Sale at cheap prices In Suspicious to me. Wouldn't happen here.
What an absolute dream of a find. At my age I still love flicking through a pile of singles, bin liners full of cool labels is amazing. Despite leaving some being, you picked some great 7" here. I saw that Action label and thought Eddie Holman, no way! But The Olympics 45 is a great pick-up. Congratulations on your finds.
You done good for a dig of genres you're no expert on. Getting in the zone and firing up those vinyl senses. Grabbing the obscure and interesting looking labels. I'd have done much the same. Short of sitting there with your phone out and scrolling through discogs, which might have bagged a few more gems, you've got to be well chuffed with that.
😮 unbelievable. That was a mountainous find. I just had my mouth open watching that. Saw couple of Monks in there. Some stunning labels I think a lot would have been guessing stuff, great dig that. Reminded me of last summer hitting on a big box of 7”s and sifting through guessing, 20p each, kicking myself for not offering for the box. Still took over£700 in records though for less than a tenner 😃. Find of a lifetime in punk, rocksteady and reggae, recently sold a Prince buster try a little tenderness from it for £520. Man days like that don’t happen often. So made up for new exactly how you were feeling looking through them 😂. Brought the rush back for me that did. Top vid!!!!!
I was so jealous, lol, found myself saying 'get it, get it, no not that, get it.....' on and on, then ' get the bloody lot' lol! I wouldnt be able to get home fast enough to see what I'd bought! Great find brum man. I am no collector of northern soul but it goes for silly money some of it and I pick it up when I can. Wish I had been at that car boot but it’s a bit far for me. Great vid as always,

You should have bought them all mate, I started off selling Northern Soul in the 80s and some of the stuff you put back I would have pulled your arms off for. If you had offered him £50 for the lot he may have taken it. I bought 700 Northern Soul records in the 90s at a car boot for 10p each once.
I have been into Northern for over 40 years, it does come up quite rarely at carboots. I have found a few gems at them, including the original Bobby Goldsboro Two many People for 50p, goes for a couple of hundred ££. I did see that you put down a few that might be worth a bit.. You put down the re issue of The Pointer sisters Send him back.. and a couple by the Contours.. but you did get a couple of blinders so worth what you paid for the lot.. Year of the Northern stack 😅also some Motown can be worth a bit, picked up Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's ain't no mountain high enough first issue for 50p last week goes for £70 to £90.. I started collecting again a few years ago after I sold my original collection. If you find an American copy of Wade Flemons Jeanette on Ramsel its worth £1200 I know I had it once 😍love your vid
I like to wonder WHERE lots of records like that come from and who they belonged to. Which loft, who died & left them, the places they were played and enjoyed. God only knows.
Well, unbelievable as this might sound, in the video, that particular copy of Fathers Angels Bok to Bach on the (bootleg) blue Port label was originally bought by myself in Kidderminster, back in the late 1970’s. It’s my teenage handwriting and ‘graffiti’ on the red sleeve. The single asterisk at the top left denotes how much I liked the record at the time > 1 asterisk = ok, 5 equalled I love it. I don’t remember when / where I sold it, but I reckon it was probably over 30 years ago now. I still have some of those cardboard sleeves with my writing on... ruclips.net/user/shortsouqZYbg1QZQ?feature=share

@@BrumReseller Funny you should say that because I bought a collection 2 months back and there was a white demo of that in there, I thought all the Clarence Murrays were cheapies so I put it in the junk pile, when I finally got round to lookig it up - last one went for £200, so I stuck £175 on it and it sold in 5 minutes.
