    I'm glad you don't just buy games,there to many RUclips resellers doing it and it's becoming repetitive for viewers

      Resellers have essentially ruined car boot sales. Years back you could get yourself a genuine bargain, now it’s just traders and resellers buying up everything and thinking they own the show. Sorry state of affairs. I don’t even bother going boot sales anymore because all the enjoyment has been sucked out of them.

      @@samcushing3790 completely agree,you used to buy for what you wanted for yourself, resellers are like drug dealers they will bleed you dry.

      They’re parasites mate, avoiding doing a proper full time job. People used to go the boot sales for, like you said, a bargain, something they genuinely needed, nowadays it’s impossible as these resellers just buy up everything and have a superior attitude to go with it. They’re happy to buy something and make 50p on it.

      @@samcushing3790 resellers are middle men, we put in the work to find items people want and sell it to them for a profit. If someone wants a certain item they can get up at silly o clock and walk around bootsales and charity shops trying to find it for a bargain price or they can just scroll on their phone and click buy now and pay a higher price for the convenience. shops are also resellers, they buy stuff cheap and sell for a profit, people dont seem to have a problem with that but suddenly when regular people do it its the worst thing in the world

    A lot of people tend to leave Mega Bloks as they think its just cheap Lego but they had the license for Call of Duty, Halo & Transformers. Always good money to be made with them. 👌

      You always get comments like that from morons that arent resellers themselves. They have no idea of the work thats involved, cleaning, testing, photographing, listing and posting items, or the fees and tax that you have to pay. They see us pay £1 and sell for £10 and think we go home with £9 profit lol. We need to be making minimum of £10 profit after fees on each item we sell otherwise it is not worth it. Thats why we have to haggle to make it worth our time. The seller can always say "no" if they are not happy with the offer. I don't understand why these people are even watching reseller videos then crying that we knocked £1 off the price. Sad people who have nothing better to do with their time.

      That, also how hard is to make a toy hat XD
      Next time take it with you, don't let it go to waste like that, it all washes up nicely and some kid or collector will be happy for it.
      I recently started taking even ripped woman bags because they actually are still great cases for my tools and if it gets way too dirty and ripped destroyed material I will just source another ... There is a purpose for everything. Ask around and see what people need, you might be surprised to see what some people will pay for even it's chum change it all adds up.
      For example. This sunday I found bunch of sports metal medals awards thrown out and one man seen me and asked if he can look at it he might trade me for it. I basically took it compulsively grabbed them from a pile of trash all with other items without too much thought almost in front of him he could basically have them if I was seconds late since he was already close by and he just needed the ribbons only asked if I trade him just for those I gave him the complete bundle as is since it was rusted anyway and he gave me bunch of books for it. I sold the books that day to a local seller while honestly those ribboned medals idk what would I do with them they were tiny scrap metal XD I couldnt sell those for anything anyway while like this I made a good deal. So yeah you NEVER KNOW.

    Whilst I'm all for people trying to make money, this channel has honestly really put me off resellers.
    You are haggling over £1 or £2 on items that you already know you are going to make £30 or more on in profit.
    The scene with all the resellers meeting to show off their pick-ups just comes across as a bunch of con artists showing off about how they screwed sellers over.
    If the seller wants to sell it at a low price, fair enough, but trying to haggle on something that is a bargain already is just really off-putting and doesn't make you look endearing at all

    • @TOMS_TAT
      @TOMS_TAT  5 месяцев назад +4

      The only thing i shouldnt of haggled on is the mega bloks figures. The only reason i did is because i had no idea what they were worth. When buying blind you have to get as cheap as possible.
      We are not ripping anyone off. The seller can always say "no".

    • @dirtyshubb
      @dirtyshubb 5 месяцев назад +5

      @@TOMS_TAT perhaps you should actually read my original comment and understand that this was what pushed me over the edge with regards to resellers.
      Also I notice you didn't actually counter my points, baring one individual example when nearly every single purchase had you haggling even though you knew how much things were worth.
      Again, haggling for £1 off an already cheap item when you are knowingly making 10s of times the profit is just scummy

    • @TOMS_TAT

      @@dirtyshubb The buzz lightyear I haggled £1 off. Because It's only worth about £12 before fees. £1 into £10 is the margins I need to be at to make it worth it. The trainers I haggled because I know nothing about trainers. It's something i'm trying to learn about. If I dont know what somrthing is worth im going to try get it as cheap as I can incase it's not worth much. The magimix I didnt haggle, the ps2 I didnt haggle, the cars i didnt haggle, the chess set I didnt haggle, the Wii sports I didnt haggle, The woody plush I didnt haggle. I knocked £1 off the PS1 games just to make it an even number. I have said I shouldnt of haggled on the mega bloks as £15 was a good price. Are you really doing all this crying because I knocked £1 of the PS1 games? Do you have nothing better to do with your time?
