I use this patch all the time but I can't seem to figure out how to stop it from automatically panning

Use a mono maker plugin.
In Nexus use the fx1 or fx2 slot, choose "st enhcr" then just drag it all the way to the left. This way you get the nice reverb after the sound is made mono too :)

just crack nexus, and use fl....
yup, the fl studio is awesome, mainly because its so simple to use but its so versatile and since so many people use it you can always find ways to make different sounds. and a lot of plugins you can just get cracked.
