Yes I understand. I use FL Mobile too. Try to reduce the velocity of the chords, it gives them a smooth feel.

My tip for all beginners: If you are watching video like this DONT make the exact same melody as him, you will never learn how to make one yourself!

Man,nice melody technique for beginners but your mixing is bad.You can hear(especially on the guitar)many unwanted frequencies.Plus,theres no headroom left.Your signal is clipping and its not even the mastered version.
its ok to clip before you master after it shouldn't though
Will Brewster you probably haven't mastered anything yet cause u should know that you actually need headroom in order to master a track...and this is smt u achieve with a good mix
George Spyropoulos it's an eleven minute video with under half of that time being used for mastering. It was never going to be great, the tutorial wasn't really for mastering though, more for melody building tips. Any one should really be looking for a seperately mixing and mastering tutorial really. Personally I feel you'd need an extended time for mixing and mastering as it can ultimately make or break the track.

since when do you produce music? looks like it's been not that long... why would you lower the threshold on a compressor without raising the ratio??
Plus he equalizes everything in the wrong way.
Boost some volumes past the 0db, etc...

sytrus has a preset called "pan flute".Sytrus is a stock fl studio plugin,so you dont have to pay for nexus

Matija Mili Medenica U can use Sytrus, there's a preset called "Pan Flute", it's stock in FL Studio, or you can buy (or crack) Nexus, there are also a few flutes. Or just make the sound yourself.
