I made this tonight and it was yummy! I tried using a mix of regular flour and some oats, but next time I think I'll grind up some oats and just use oat flour. I love that it doesn't use a lot of sugar. My apples were naturally sweet, so no need for much sugar at all. Thanks!
Thank you for all your healthy recipes. I recently found your channel. I was watching your Spanish rice and black bean dish, which I am excited to try. I was also curious about your refried bean recipe. Would you mind making a video on that?
I am always so scared to make pies because traditional pie crusts can be so delicate -- but this looks super easy and delicious! Will definitely be trying this recipe out in the fall.
Physicians Committee just came out with a sweet potato pie recipe. I am going to try their pie crust. It looked more traditional. ruclips.net/video/8RkBn75ZLhA/видео.html
@@NiniGirl lol I just noticed that it’s been a year since I posted I was going to try this. I never did get back to you, but I am now. I love this and I’ve been making it now for I guess a year LOL I’ve used every type of Apple you can think of. Whenever I get the urge whatever apples in the house is what I use. I absolutely love using frozen banana nice cream on top when it’s still warm. Thanks again sorry it took a year to answer 😊
@John CV 1 packet Mori-Nu silken Tofu extra firm ( take out of box, wrap in dish towel and place in refrigerator to absorb the liquid) an hour is plenty. 1T orange juice 1T tahini 1 t orange zest 1 t vanilla 2 T brown sugar or whatever sweetener you want Pinch of salt Blend ingredients until smooth. Enjoy 👍
Nina, Do you happen to have the amount of calories per serving and amount per serving ? I'm a calorie counter. You have a beautiful channel. So inspiring. Thank you so very much adding recipe in description box. Love Tamson ♥️ 🙋😇
Great job but just so you know silk milks have natural flavors in it which you not natural and best to use a different brand. I think westsoy brand is just water and soy beans.
Nini Girl , you never disappoint. I always look forward to your videos.

@John CV 👍
@@kboom58 I should try it. Does it taste like whip cream??? and if I’m adding orange cheese do I have to put the orange zest.
@@bobomonkey702 yes, I think so, no, not necessary to add zest 👍
Omg my mouth is watering 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Looks delicious! Thank you for sharing the recipe!
Looks SO good! Great job!
Do you have a low fat option to replace the almond butter with?
Looks heavenly!!!! Thanks for posting! 💕💕
I can't wait to try this! Thanks for the video
Is it coconut sugar because it’s healthier than regular brown sugar?
It looks delicious! 💗
Omg.. looks amazing! Must make this ASAP. TFS!
I think I would make a little extra topping. I like to have extra! Looks so yummy!
This looks amazing and I so want to try it, but am allergic to almonds... what can I use instead of the almond butter?
Try cashew or sunflower butter.

Am enjoying a virtual helping of your pie right now. Mmmm, seconds, please.
Me too. No more crab apples! We ate them all.
Thank you for your recipes, especially the beans and rice recipe. What's your background ? Middle eastern/ spanish ?
Looks yummy!!
Delish
Looks great, could I substitute maple syrup for the coconut sugar?
Yes, I have tried that just add more corn starch. It is as good just not as caramely.
Any suggestions if I don't have almond butter
you can use any nut butter

Stevia > sugar
