    Thank you Nini! I’ve made chickpea salad before and we love it, but I’ve made it with vegan mayo. Your dressing looks much better. Your recipe videos are so family-practical and actually useful. Always waiting patiently for the next one!

    I'm SO glad to see more videos from you!!! I've been missing you here on RUclips. You do make it look so easy... I wish I had your knack for it. What is your favorite whole wheat bread?

      My bread! of course. But if I had to buy a whole wheat slice bread it would have to be Dave's Killer Bread.

    I make this all the time and I modify it too. I add extra pickles too and I also add some pickle juice as well.

    Very similar to what I do. For a tuna salad, I add Old Bay. For egg salad I add black salt. In all salads I add a little green bell pepper. I'm southern and the "Trinity" goes in everything!
    Thanks for another wonderful recipe.
    Hope your move is going well.
    Take care!

    Great day. I love the Tuna recipe. But I can't have the Tahini what can replace it with?

    • @NiniGirl
      @NiniGirl  5 лет назад +2

      I have made it without too! My husband is not a fan of any type of fat even the little amount that I add. It really does taste the same without the tahini. Maybe add 1 T of the rest of the ingredients to make up the difference. Thanks!

    What do you do with the oil on the top of the tahini?
    Thank you

    • @NiniGirl
      @NiniGirl  5 лет назад +2

      When I first open the jar I just pour it out in my sink. Every time I open it I pour what ever oil is on top. By the time I get to the middle most of the oil is gone. You can opt out of the tahini if you chose.

    • @amalsaad7693
      @amalsaad7693 5 лет назад +2

      Thank you for taking a time to respond and that is a good way to get rid of the oil on the top of a tahini jar.

  • @johndubois5870

    I wonder if there is anything else besides chickpeas to add to these numerous vegan tuna recipes on RUclips. ? Can you use tofu pieces or strips toughened up a little in microwave and then diced maybe and added with seaweed flavor? Even gluten flour boiled with seaweed flavoring and added other flour to make softer texture even. All these mock tuna fish samiches use the same ingredient..
    .garbanzoes . Recipe looks GOOD...however.

      If you use tofu, I recommend freezing it for a day or two.
      After you thaw it, it will not crumble so easily.
