Awesome work, just found your channel and I'm looking forward to your other videos. Super disappointed that this is a current project though, I was looking forward to watching the whole project and now I have to wait ;-(
Are you documenting your adapter project I am planing an adapter from an automatic trans and if ou have made your blueprints available, I would love to have a copy of the hf2a part.
Keep up the great videos, good luck on your project and thanks for sharing these vids!

Thanks. Yes I am trying my best at documenting everything. My current build has a monthly budget that I attempt to stick to. I dropped my NV4500 off at the rebuilder on Monday to have the modified main shaft installed. They are pretty busy and was told it would be a few weeks. As for adapter I will dropping the aluminum block off at the fab shop next week hopefully.

Cool, so you are having the output shaft resplined to match the HF2A input? No coupler then. I'm looking for documentation as to the HF2A input splines.

Yup. Using a 2WD main shaft from a Dodge diesel and it gets resplined to 19 spline. Here the link to the open source plans. forum.ih8mud.com/threads/nv4500-to-hf2av-open-source-adapter-plans.1054769/#post-11626357

Nice work. Does the HF1A use the same bolt pattern?
