Hope this doesn't sound bad but watching your videos for so long and seeing such and improvement in your skin and how much glowier it seems now and how your hair looks better, really proves that you are one to trust. This is what showed me that skincare really is a long run thing, not instant results. Love!

I use the body serum on my face and neck. I don’t waste it on my body. It’s amazing and highly recommend it. If you have some dry spots on your body this is great when applied to damp skin and covered with lotion on top.

Just started my tret journey. I am 68, but better late than never. I was a teenager in the 60’s, and like girls back then I thought I was a cake and needed to be baked until I was done! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Thank you, thank you, for schooling me on proper skincare. I started with .025, and see where this will take me!! It’s a funny thing, I don’t remember SPF in any sun product back then!! So happy society has grown wiser, literally!! I used to live in Kingwood for 13 years and I know all about Houston sun and humidity. What a wonderful service you bring to us!! I asked about a Necessaire review recently but now I see this. Thanks! I purchased the line of products for my body.The exfoliator & body wash were awesome. I used the serum & lotion the way they instruct only to find my skin was pretty dry the next morning: to dry skin, apply serum after the body lotion or mix it with the body lotion. This was before I subscribed to your channel & realized the serum absolutely needs to be applied first. I even reached out to them & cited the common knowledge of hyaluronic acid needing to be applied to damp skin & then followed by a sealant. Their rep insisted to apply serum after the lotion or mix it with the lotion & apply to dry skin. Needless to say, I've ignored their instruction & applied the serum then lotion. Works much better.

Also after watching her videos for a year plus I’ve been my conscious of applying a nice amount of sunscreen on my ears. Also I screamed at the ombrelle review I found. I myself order ombrelle from amazon for the meroxyl. I live on the gulf coast and I have a pool and this sunscreen holds up amazingly (reapplying of course) when outside at the beach, pool or yard work.

I am grateful for your advice on applying Tretinoin. I had tried Tretinoin twice before and had to give up as it was just too irritating. I was following the instructions that came with the tube of applying to a clean dry face wait for it to fully absorb, about 15 minutes, then apply moisturizer. I just couldn’t sustain the irritation. Moisturizing the face first has allowed me to work up to every night. Been doing this since I found your channel. I like the result, but since I have trouble with carcinoma (I have two scabs where the dermatologist zapped on my face right now). I am hopeful Tretinoin will help my skin develop resistance to cancer as well as anti aging. So again, thank you.

Not to impose or anything, but I had some suggestions for topics to talk about on here, topics that I was curious about. Could you please make a review of the ingredients for The Ordinary`s hair serum? I was also wondering what your thoughts were on those Dr. Scholl`s stockings for sleeping that are meant to reshape the appearance of cellulite. And last but not least, I was also curious about the heat protectant sprays and creams, and whether you think they are really doing anything to protect the hair shaft from blowdrying and heat styling. Paula’s Choice just released a 20% Niacinamide cream. Any thoughts on Niacinamide at that percentage?
I am not an expert but I have read that from trials made on niacinamide the optimum percentage is 5%. In test with higher dosages there was no additional benefits.
Any chance you'll review the new supergoop eyebright? I'm wondering if it's a dupe for the colorescience 3in1.
I was wondering if you could suggest literature on skincare ingredients, and overall health. I’ve looked at amazon, but mostly it’s just enthusiast literature, not scientific. Ordered a book and references were EWG! 😂

Found The Ordinary’s Niacinamide calmed my skin down, in about 3 days, after overdoing the old Retin A. Along with an emollient moisturiser. Very good results for me, would normally take weeks.

Happy Saturday! This Necessary product seems very effective! It may be a great addition to my routine because I love anything gel! I still love Deep Dive by Red Earth! I knitted a lot when I was younger but I never tried crochet! I made a jacquard vest that I love and keep it as a trophy...lol!

With no occlusive ingredient not worth it. Too expensive to me.
I've been using it for a year and I love it. It's improved the health of my skin and it hydrates very well. A tube lasts me several months.

Are you thinking about trying the new Paula’s Choice 20% Niacidamide? Is that even a promising product? :)
Results of Niacinamide have been seen at concentrations of 5% so using 20% seems unnecessary. After 3 months I had seen results from the ordinary 10% Niacinamide without irritation and my skin is sensitive.

Can you still do the "Dr Dray method" of moisturizing with clindamycin gel? I was told to put it on clean, dry face. I'm wondering if I can put it on damp skin since it's sort of like a humectant vehicle
Should an Azelaic Acid product like the one from Paula's Choice or from Dr Sam also be used after the moisturizer? If moisturizer goes on damp skin, where do these kind of products go.
In my routine, I apply the azelaic acid booster after my moisturizer dries in the pm.
@@Roll587Most companies recommend serum first, then moisturizer, which makes sense to me because the actives are closer to skin. But I never feel my skin gets well moisturized that way, so applying moisturizer directly to damp skin and then actives also makes sense, I do that already on tretinoin nights. I will try it on my Dr Sam Serum nights as well for a while.

How cool! I use the OMBIA sunscreen since a long time (not exclusively), and it is one of my favourites! It sinks in so well. Just a shame, that it is just available in SPF 30.

After I clean my face, I put on a very light moisturizer like cereve pm and then my Retin A, followed by a heavier moisturizer. Is that overkill with moisturizing?
