I 1st discovered you all the way back in 2012 when you demonstrated the Boss ME-70 for Nevada Music Store. You were my deciding factor to buy one and it was the best decision I made for a solid multi effects unit. It's still working like new and sounds amazing. Boss hiring you to do demonstrations is a optimal choice because you bring out the best in their products.
No sorry, correction in 2011 I discovered you. Lol. I just woke up so my memory hasn't fully awoken. Regardless I've watched you for a long time. 10 years next April.

Got my Pocket GT. Easy to use, good variety of presets, and simple to edit in the App. I have been loading tracks from the library on my phone and setting Markers - such a great feature! Really enjoying using this for quiet late night practice. Highly recommended!

Hey Alex I love the whole idea of small in size, but powerful effects unit. Roland/Boss are on Top again with this effects unit! Adding the phone, loop function is incredible, by itself, but being able to program ahead of time what effect you want to use and when during the jam along is just shear Genius! I’m liking the idea of it. And a great price point. For live performance, can it be paired to some sort of pedal controller to quickly switch from clean to dirty (or vice versa) and turn on/off delay on demand?

Man, you are an amazing guitarist!!! Smooth, clean, and specific! A nice surprise discovery when just pokin' around looking at reviews for the Pocket GT. Of which, you have me sold! Already on the way. BTW, what is patch 51 at marker 6? Is that a factory preset or did you tweak to get that sound? It came at the perfect moment of impressedness when I was already marveling at your playing, combined with the fact each patch change sounded incredible from a little pocket sized box then... WTF with patch 51? That's badass. You're badass. Hope you still read these comments. Dying to know if it's a factory preset. Noticed in other comments there was something wrong with your hand and that you're on the mend. Thank goodness! Here's to continued recovery!

It seems promising and a lot of fun to play with .. however, one MAIN drawback imo is : once you are used to playing with the Waza Air (wireless I mean) you cannot go back to cable !!! It would have been cool to be able to connect the pocket GT to a wireless headphone and to be able to send the audio input via blutooth too .... too many cables in my opinion...

Are you able to run a blue tooth speaker through this unit? with a cord with right jacks?
Can those markers and patches be saved at a song level? Would be cool to get the software for the Kantana Air or other Kantana products

Hello Alex, very nice vid !!! I have a question : I want to use it with headphones, so can I use bluetooth headphones (to use wireless) or does it only work with headphones plugged with a cable and a jack ? Thank you very much
The output from the pocket GT is only through the headphone/line out.
Although the track can be played thru Bluetooth

selecting effects like stompboxes or computer controlled midi switching. instead effects are controlled by markers set up in the backing track playback.

Is there an added benefit to this for playing as opposed to the Boss GT-1? I understand about the addition of RUclips functionality. I'm talking about effects for the guitar. At least with the GT-1 you get the volume/expression pedal. I don't know if the GT-1 has the same ability to be used with a computer like the Pocket GT. I'm just trying to figure out which one would be better, overall. I'm also wondering if I should just spring for the GT-100. It's a tough decision.
I understand mate, I think it really depends on what your primary use is for, for example if you travel around a lot a like the compact nature of the Pocket GT then its perfect for that however if you think having a more solid floor unit with vol/Wah floor that can also be used for gigging etc, I'd say the GT-1 is probably the way to go.... Incidentally the GT-1 also will record into the computer via USB. I hope that'll help with your decision some what. All the very best.
Thanks for your reply! I've been strictly a pedal guy for a very long time but have recently started using a Macbook Pro for experimentation but it's primarily for my keyboard. So, I'm looking to experiment with either the GT-1 or the Pocket GT. I understand the brai s are essentially identical. If I can use a computer the same exact way with either device, I think the GT-1 is definatly the way to go. Thanks for your input! I'm really enjoying your Chanel.

Hi there I'm not familiar with a Rockman/Boston, but the sound variations possible with it are almost infinite, so what ever sound you're after I'm pretty confident you'll be able to get very close. All the best

I was really interested in this device. I tried the iPhone app. It looks like most of youtube videos return "playing this video is banned by the author". I'm disappointed as it removes a lot of interest of it.
Is there any ongoing agreement between Boss and RUclips to get this restriction removed ?

Oohh good question, I'll have to look into that and get back to you, I haven't tried yet.
I own one, haven't seen any possibiltys to transmit Bluetooth.

Nope. No onboard recording. Take this Boss "Pocket GT" + "BR-80". just four track recording would be enough. It's almost the perfect device
Also, no slowdown setting??? I use the RUclips "Playback speed" reduction ALL THE TIME. I will even get into the custom times like 0.6x > 0.65x > 0.7x and slowly build up to 100% speed as I'm learning licks and ideas.
Hey Jonathan, I do understand your points, it is possible to record into your computer via USB which is pretty cool and as for the slow down feature I'm not sure but perhaps they may be something that could be implemented on a future update.... I bought one a few days ago. This far I only have one complaint. But it is a big one. It disconnects all the time on Android. If you are a Android guy, it is a bad buy!
I have never once had a Bluetooth disconnect. These are good operating units

Hi there, I don't believe you can unfortunately.
my concern is that out of 9 min of this video; 7 are spent on playing with youtube videos. I assume this device as effect and simulator of amps and such is not that great, and you buy it just to play along with your youtube video songs. Is this device fundamentally a youtube play-along interface? If that is the case, for 250 dollars it is more expensive than a simple audio interface for your ipad or iphone, to connect the guitar to it to be honest.
If it can't change key of song they missed it imho
