Landed in AMS from JFK 30th Dec 2019. Then needed to get a flight to Edinburgh. We were bussed out to the Embraer farm and once on the plane it seemed to go for a very long taxi to get to the actual take off point. We went over bridges, stopped for a picnic ,checked out the architecture of the buildings in a village lol....all before take off......I love Schipol. Its a unique airport and I had the pleasure of the 787-900 into AMS and I'm a fan of KLM.
Acoustic Soundz, thank you for watching! I also think that Amsterdam Schiphol is a lovely airport with a large number of connections. You are right. Taxiing to the Polderbaan can take a while. This is in contrast to most US airports where the runways are located much closer to the terminals.
Your video's.. especially the KLM one of Amsterdam to Paris ..are really super..! A good mix of internal and external views...and great audio too.. thanks for sharing!!!

I like Amsterdam Schipol and will be there in August. The only downside to your flight, was the taxing time from the main terminal to the dreaded Polderbaan runway.
Cool! You are so right! I don't mind departing from the Polderbaan but landing there and then 15 mins to the terminal can be pretty irritating sometimes. It is really far away from the terminal. Actually, I don't know if there is another airport with such a distant runway!
Nor do I to be honest. Because of the distance of the runway from the main terminal. There is a ATC Tower located at the Polderbaan runway, because the staff at the main tower cannot see it.. I look forward to further uploads from you.

It's great that refreshments is served in this short 45-minute flight, unlike a certain airline that has just switch to buy-on-board service. Yes, I'm looking at you, BA!!
Economy Confort is allright, better seats. I'am fly 20 years with the klm to cape town of Johannesburg. Crew from klm on boart and ground is perfect. Foot is great and fantastic. Great movie, from Ams tot Paris.
The important thing is that there is room for your legs :-) 'room' betekent ook 'ruimte' :-) Je mag het spellen als een woord (Webster) of twee aparte woorden (Collins). legroom of leg room = the amount of space that is available to extend your legs while seated. Groetjes :-)
Hi, it's very unusually there were no announcements from the cockpit on your flight to Budapest. My experience with #KLM is that there is not one but 3 announcements - one before departure with info about the flight, one during the flight itself and before the landing. And that was on all flights I have taken with KLM so far, I think.
I flew KLM Birmingham to Manila, business, it stank, not good. I'll never fly KLM again. Flew back with Emirates, SO much better. Also from Schipol to Manila is a bloody long flight, almost 16 hours, a ball ache. Manila to Birmingham splits half way at Dubai, so only 2 8 hour flights.
There was nothing "breathtaking" about this flight nor was any of the approach over Paris itself, only the northern suburbs as you landed on runway 9L.
