I don't know how I missed this remix. It's funny because I've always felt Deadmau5 songs would be epic DNB remixes or even remixed with dubstep bass drops. This is the best remix I've heard of this song. That's saying something because Feed /me's remix is really really good.
As a deadmau5 fan of 8 years, i've always thought of remixes of Strobe to be an abomination. But this, was actually pretty good. It kept the same type of structure and hardly changed the intro and outro. very well done.
This remix is so tasteful and well thought out. I think it shows how much the creator appreciates the original work. There's something very satisfying about a remix that retains the soul of the original piece. If i had to critique one piece of the work i'd have to say the build at halfway thru 6:48 could have been better.
