I love ❤ this bike. I’m an avid cyclist and in all sincerity it is always safer to ride with traffic. Ride like you were driving a car, just stay off to the far right whenever possible. I used to ride on the sidewalks and almost got hit because the driver was not expecting to see me there. Going over the handlebars was not fun and I don’t like to see things happen to people. I like these videos keep up the good work.😉
These are bike trails in town and only on one side of the road, honestly when someone turns in a parking lot they slow down for me because I can see then face to face, rather then coming from behind and turning in front of me and have to slam my brakes.
love your video thanks so much! i'm interested in getting a pebl and your videos are helping me. My local municipalities say that my electric trike is still a "bike" since it's still able to be powered by human movement aka pedals so it wouldn't be considered a "motor vehicle" because I asked my local town attorneys(2 different towns in same county)
Good vid Noisy motor for electric - cant even tell my hub Vector Goldenmotor is running other than the power it is potting out. I guess because they use the inter gear hub they had to go with the external. I have to upgrade my Delta to make it all weather. Cheers from Toronto
Regarding sidewalks, or in Australian parlance “foot paths”, at least where I live, in Melbourne, some foot paths are explicitly marked as “shared foot paths”, and allow for bikes, while others, it’s illegal to ride bikes on. That said, nobody really pays much attention to that, except in the middle of the city, where pedestrian traffic is thickest, and vehicle traffic is slow enough that bikes routinely outpace cars because congestion doesn’t matter to a bike. Still, if I owned a PEBL, knowing the width of foot paths around here, I probably wouldn’t be comfortable riding one on the foot path. There’d be no reason for cyclists to pass going the other direction.
