Once I'm retired I'll have more time to spend buzzing around in my PEBL. In this video I'll be taking you for a ride through downtown Dallas to the grocery store.
The paradigm is coming. I enjoy my scooter in town. Safety issues with traffic needs to be properly addressed. More Greenways, better light rail, a transition away from car-culture. Parking lots turned into natural food forests for the birds and bees. Addressing the climate crisis, plus get some nice exercise. I hate vehicle pollution. The noise, breathing in diesel fumes is particularly damaging to the respiratory system, and everything else. Nice tour, thanks 😊.
No it should not. It takes 100% of your human power to move the bike, there is nothing to spare for adding extra drag with a generator. Solar panels do more charging with no effort at all, all day long.
@@lonnietaylor2759 I run across this a lot at RUclips. There are many people who never learned that generating power in a moving vehicle by adding drag to it is a failed attempt at a perpetual motion machine. The only practical application for this is regenerative braking for EVs or solar panels on the roof.
I never owned one, but my neighbor has one I rode in before. If I ever get one I'll add a couple 12volt fans, mp3 player on the dash and a brighter headlight
Wow Awesome. City's would be awesome if they did self asset transportation for city only delivery trucks only exception . People should do manual work to move.
Is this the only video you have done about the pebl? Have you taken this thing on a camping or road trip or some other adventure? That would make a great video
You have sold it??....noooo...😔 I hope all is well for you. Did you buy it new or second hand? Where can we get that from? Is there any in Mexico? I don't know why but I'm sad you sold it. No more videos😫 Have a good retirement...from Canada.🌻
do you ever get stopped by police? reason I ask is I want to use this on the bike paths on the side of the streets but I am afraid the police will think it's illegal to ride there.
Looks like your plexiglass windshield has some scratches.. I use lemon pledge to remove those scratches. Just spray it on the plexi and wipe it off with a soft fabric cloth. the scratches disappear. I learn about this trick when i was a teenager
@@PigsTravels Same I'll have them build me one that can get up, to 200 miles on one E battery I would say that's maybe possible that weights over 57.5 pounds though on single charge replacing their stock batteries for the Pebi 2.0 100 turning it into a Pebi 2.0 250 instead! But doing so it'll add even more weight to their, Pebi 2.0 fully enclosed bicycle! Plus I'll be having them mod it to carry a fully enclosed bicycle tallier, or scooter one in the back on it to carry to 3 more people with me why I'm riding and for carrying more stuff. When all of this is done think it'll be called Pebi, 3.0 250 officially by me!!
@@PigsTravels The E bicycle battery I'm talking about that could power Pebi bicycle, better for all of its functions costs around $2000 on A m a z o n that's a 52V 120Ah battery! Of course that's done on a single battery only saving some space! :D
I love that these don’t need insurance or license What a great deal they’ve insurance just all the deaths and everything has its yearly tax. They called a tag. It’s a yearly tax on whatever it is we bought that we already paid the sales tax on tags feel like use tax. I’d buy almost anything if it didn’t get taxed more than when I bought it get tired of taxes and I’m not the only one.
Look for a used one. I sold mine a few months ago. Supposedly the company that made them has still been taking full payment orders but has not been delivering since 2020.
You live in Dallas!? I live close by. Would it be alright if I spoke with you about meeting up to see this bike? I have been looking into getting one of these and wanted to speak with you about some of the questions I have.
Were you pedalling most of the time? I know it's a one year old video, but I don't know if you get notifications whenever someone writes to you. Anyhow! It's super cool.
@@eatsdriverfl I don't think they are doing refurbished right now, they barely can get the 2.0 model finished to send out to folks who have been waiting 3 years or more. I am in process of buying a lightly used one. I got lucky to even find that.
Neat little rig! Downtown Dallas must be a real food desert if you had to drive that far to get to a grocery store.

Good for you, pal. But, in my opinion, that's very expensive for a very questionable quality product.
Im not dead yet. Yes we are.

That a very good question, now I'm wondering the same thing.

Yes I sold it last year before I moved to Mexico.
@@thelmabelisle4529 I think he said in the video that he purchased it used, but that could have been someone else too. 🤔
Ok I did not listen carefuly.

The laws vary from city to city. I’ve only been pulled over once and the cop was just curious and wanted to know what it was.
Wow genial!😮

Does it charge while you're pedaling?
No but that would be nice.
Does it have shock absorbers?
Yes but it does tend to be a bumpy ride.
This is probably a long shot...but is there anyone interested or knows of someone who is interested in selling their PEBL bike?
Nice little E.V.but not into those zipper doors. Does it come with other types of doors? Is it expensive
I don’t think they are making them anymore. Mine was 12k.

Cool car you had for me I can’t wait to get my little vehicle too a pod ride 😃
Good luck ! I have been waiting since 2020. They said it would be on the market as of 2021. Never got any news from them.

Nothing sez "kook" like an enclosed e-bike! hahaha
Nothing says TROLL like your comment. Flagged for harassment. Enjoy getting soaked in the rain.
Last laugh.
When did you get your pebl and how long did it take from time of ordering to delivery?
I got lucky. They had a refurbished one with less than 100 miles on it that I was able to get right away. That was in April of 2020.
Hey!! How much cost refurbished?
