    I am always excited and extremely happy to see Sifu Gary Lam.. teach..He is hands on and really wants his students to understand what they are doing... A True Gem ❤

    What is the point of chi sau “sensitivity” training? Fights dont look like this. Is it meant for when grabbing occurs?

      Chi sau give you information about the opponent at contact. This is application upon touch without conscious effort.

    Vietnam Wingchun use all huen sao in all angles it more flexible, in chinesse version only one angle huen sao inside huen sao

    not sure why they still teach under lap. the other can just push both your hands down mid lap, if he's alert. very risky to practice this and make it a habit. over lap always better unless the other person's hand is already very low and there is no danger

      they teach under lap because it's great. It has to be done right though.

      It depends on the opponent's energy. If he is going off centre and force you to bong, the biu sau complements it.
