I've been playing basically the same lava deck at ultimate champion pretty consistently for the last 5 months and here's what I have to say. Play the mega minion over the inferno dragon. Its just more consistent on defense and is way harder to break through than an i-drag's dps being medicated with a zap. It's also better against recruits, which isn't a bad mu for lava but I like crushing recruits players. In top ladder i-drag might fare better though, only because top players know when to play it to force the most value out of their opponent. What I'm essentially saying is that if you don't know your opponents cycle at all times its not a great card, but there are multiple situations where it is better than mega minion if you know when and where to use it. For fireball, I've been debating if it is better than arrows for quite some time, and I think that now more than ever fireball beats out arrows. The rise in use rate for the mother witch, magic archer, and skele drags makes fireball a cheaper and quicker option to support a push than arrows. Spell bait is still a hard mu and originally that why I thought arrows had the edge over fireball, but in the current meta you benefit more from the offensive value of a fireball than the defensive value of arrows. On top of that, the +1 interactions from the gorden ramsey tower hurt arrows. +1 level zappies, magic archer, and mother witch don't die to the arrows zap combo, and +2 Fire cracker and princess don't die to arrows. This seems niche in some situations but trust me, it's a real game changer you let a 1 hp princess get more value than it should. Anyway great video as always.

I think that if the chef is gonna be offensive based then it’s defense should be significantly worse to compensate. I also think the level increase should be capped at one. Probably still wouldn’t be balanced
