Vegeta will always be the favorite DBZ character even if most won't admit it. There is something in us as men that will always resonate more with Vegeta than Goku..Goku is a Goat and an amazing character but it came easy to him and that's just not how real life is. Real life is a struggle, ups and downs filled with failure and short lived victories with little to no contentment.. This embodies everything Vegeta was. The Goat.
It didn't really come easy for Goku though. He trained harder than any fighter to get where he is. He went through the struggles and failures to become the warrior he is and the warrior Vegeta respects the most. Just because King Kai was helping doesn't mean his power was handed to him. He had to seek that for himself with intense training. I agree though, Vegeta is the Goat and embodies the emotions of stoic hard working men.

Couldn't fly without Nimbus. Vegeta could fly and was out with Raditz laying waste to civilizations just out of pure fun. If Vegeta trained harder, he would have beaten Goku in the Saiyan Saga.

Both had immense amounts of training and always surpass each other when they push pass their limits. I've been a DB fan since DragonBall. So I'm speaking more on Dragon Ball Z. GT is not Canon and plus the power scaling in GT is way off the charts compared to DBZ. Apparently Super Saiyan God is supposed to replace SSJ4. Which is weird to me but cool. Zuhayr Chowdhury the clouds were animated. But Z wasn't well animated to begin with. And for the most part Super's animation is on par with Z's at least now it is. I've come to the conclusion, Super doesn't want to develop these guys any more. Sure, new forms and stuff. But the character development is done for them, they might be working on other characters now.
Mixed 2 things I love, DBZ/Goku-Vegeta rematch & Godsmack. I Stand Alone very much fit perfectly, editing with fade in/out's etc. w/Dub was on point. Loved it.

I've come to the conclusion, Super doesn't want to develop these guys any more. Sure, new forms and stuff. But the character development is done for them, they might be working on other characters now.

cant wait to see what abridge does with majin vegeta, its going to be epic. Also to everybody whos for goku in the fight saying that vegeta is a cheater for using babadis magic, it needs to be said that were it not for the clear favoritism shown towards goku by the writers and, in the universe, by all powerful entities, scientists, and aliens he probably wouldn't be near the same level as vegeta. Granted, the mans pride and pissy attitude is why he never received such attenchion to begin with but its still impressive how well he kept up with goku just through shear dogged determination and willpower. That's why I will always respect his character the most out of all the other dbz fighters, he may be a jackass but deep down, he's the truest warrior of the whole group; he fights for what he believes in, he protects what he cares for, and he never, ever backs down. In many ways, I see him as a more grounded and believable version of goku
