I don't know why, but when the song says "Lay your hand on me one last time" and it shows Piccolo fusing with Kami, with Mr. Popo in tears...I dunno man, Mr. Popo was always a bastion of serenity and peace. When he was training little Goku, when he was giving him life lessons, even something as simple as watering the plants on Kami's lookout. Mr. Popo rarely shows emotion, but this time...he's losing Kami. He's losing his boss, his God, his friend.
And after that half-second of seeing Mr. Popo in tears we switch to Kami powering up for the fusion process, knowing he needs to sacrifice himself for the greater good. Overlooked scene of this AMV, but truly powerful.
It also hit me in the feels
I use to watch a lot of amvs when I was younger and I found this one at the time and now I came back to revisit one of my childhood amvs I use to watch I thank you for making this amazing masterpiece
