600 hp is civilized you'll actually beat many a hellcat with just 600,800 hp on the other hand,800 is a savage number more than what anyone really needs these 1000+ hp cars aren't even cars after that point,just coffins on wheels lol or a ticking time bomb
I got 255 Pilot Sport 4's and they don't hook up on 360hp 375tq RWD. The car's still new at 4,600 miles on the car, with 2,000 lightly used break in period. I think I need to go wider and stickier.

I feel like as far as street fires and street cars go, 500 hp or so is usually the most you can run while still maintaining grip and what not via tire compound.
I’m glad Toyota is still in the ring fighting for modern day enthusiasts but for me it’s the price point that kills it with the exception of the 86. Even the GR Yaris is expensive, I just can’t justify 5 million yen for the Yaris and 7 million for the RZ trim Supra. It makes me think the Corolla will be at the 6 million mark and that’s pretty insane. But that’s just my thoughts on it, personally I don’t mind the collaboration with the A90. I actually like these parts bin collab cars. Another good example is the 2020 Vantage. Underneath you know it’s a AMG GT but it definitely doesn’t drive like one. Marcus you should definitely try to review one! I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Especially the 7 speed manual AMR variant but those are pretty rare.

105c is fine for 2Js, 115c (239f) is where you would want to start letting it cool down a bit. The fuel pump thing you are talking about is called a Fuel pump hanger. Also the "airbag delete mod" in series 1 supras is just a 2nd glove box, only in series 2 was it a air bag. Also at 14psi that would be flat out making more than 450-460hp on pump.
Microtech used to be one of the few ECU's that were capable of running rotary back in the day. And 105°C should be fine. Not sure about 600hp and 14psi, but still looked like the right amount ot HP for street 👍
If mine ever hit 220F, i would be in panic that the fans were not working, i NEVER EVER EVER boost any of my cars in the dead summer. I wait till temps drop to about 70F or less before i boost it
Never really undersood peoples need for high horsepower. If you're building a car to drag race - of course. if you're building a track car.. of course more power will help to a point. But for a car that you plan to drive on the street, i don't even understand how ya'll can use it - I feel like I can get myself in to enough trouble in the roads with a low HP car.. can't even imagine if I had 600+ hp, where the hell could I use it without pissing people off / getting impounded or killing myself. haha

The 2JZ, from our findings, usually runs at about the 90-100 degrees Celsius mark (194-212 f). Provided you have a good coolant additive the coolant system can run up to 110 degrees C without boiling over (because the system is also pressurised). I suspect with this car having such a big power output it will be running on the hotter side. Don't forget the 1J and 2J blocks are huge iron lumps so they hold a lot of heat (and also take a long time to warm up!)

I don’t mind the new Supra but the fact the motor is not Toyota shows the laziness of Toyota so I hope the new corolla is a turn around same with the FRS & GT86 it’s literally a Subaru but that car is forgivable because of how bad ass the STi Swap is in that car

The name you were looking for is triple pump hanger. Man its weird to me ppl complain about twin disc ot grt scared or have issues driving them smoothly. Super easy super stockish feeling clutches. Maybe ive gotten lucky but driven three cars with them two were jz cars. Spec twin in a r154 in a buddies sc300 was butter drove better than stock even with a race light weight fly wheel 560whp. My gs300 tilton twin disc also super butter but hesvier fly wheel than my buddies and 700hp back than(1100 now). I think single puck un sprung are hard. Still drove that orginally in my gs with a r154 but damn sure didnt enjoy dailying that

Am I weird for preferring lower power and more capability through corners? 600hp means nothing to me unless it can run on rails through corners.

Running meth should get him to 600whp reliably, I know a few persons that run meth with piss water 90 octane running 600whp daily
