Good idea with the emergency flashlight ready to use. We have a bigger flashlight in one of our cabinets at the entrance and also candles and lighters. Experienced a power shut down a few weeks ago. Only for a few hours but it was at the evening and dark. Therefore it is always good to be prepared, even without war or earth quakes. It has been just a technical failure at the power plant relay station. Lit a fire at our fire place, it’s is cold without heating and no power no heating system. Put some candles and opened a bottle of red wine. Nice apartment too. Hopefully you will spend happy times there.
