    Thanks for the guide. Was unsure about getting the back off; you showed nicely that it was just a bunch of clips with brute force needed. Crack in the board at the power connector. Had always been iffy since first purchase! Bridged with some solder

    I have a 19 inches pc monitor LG Flatron L1952TQ, when I power it on, I have pictures, but within 2 seconds, the screen fades to white, and eventually, I see no more a thing. I tried cleaning the flex cable that attaches the video board to the LCD with no results

    i had this same problem - sometimes turning it off before i shut down , and turning it on after my pc booted up worked. However, soon after my sitrix soar sound card started to disappear - i changed that out and boom , my monitor now works perfectly - Work that one out !

    Fixed mine through this video. Seems like some cable did indeed get loose as I suspected. It "died" while I was moving it across my desk.
    Am I a tech wizard now?

    i got an Xb271h and I've taken mine apart twice already and nothing. Will not be buying Acer again that's for sure. 3 years old... Sad cause it was amazing while it worked and honestly never have ever had a monitor break on me before. My LG with no HDMI from 15+ years ago is still working....

    • @NovaTitanProductions
      @NovaTitanProductions 3 года назад +2

      Yep. Same problem here. Funny thing is it just broke 4 months after warranty expired. They wanted 299.99 USD after taxes to repair a monitor that cost 500 USD new. Yeah, it's a waste so I spent that 300 bucks on a new monitor that has Gsync too.

      On the back, there's a button under where the stand connects (on the shroud along where the hdmi port is) just press that and then you can just pull off the monitor

    thank you.

    • @tristantries2129
      @tristantries2129  4 года назад +4

      Hello! I removed all the cables attached to the motherboard to the point where I could remove the board completely (unfortunately my camera cut that part out) I did not go under the PSU shroud at all. I'm not sure exactly what part of my unplug and plug it back in process resolved the issue but I would suspect it was probably one of the display cords connecting the panel to the motherboard. If you still have warranty, I'd recommend just sending it to acer to fix as opening it up does void your warranty!
