Do share your experience!
Excelente 👌
Nice 1.
obrigado!🇧🇷
That's a really gorgeous rice. Maybe do XFCE next time?
Next time!
great video
Thanks!
Would LOVE a catppuccin theme on gnome tutorial
Hello! I tried your application evolve, it was great! I would love to see a universal app which support all DE and wm in the future.
Loved your input! Thanks for trying. The 1.2 version will be out soon. Stay tuned!
Thank man we need for kde❤
Sure mate ❤️
good job
I'd say Ubuntu is my favorite unix desktop, it was also my entry a couple of years ago .
I've tried Parrot, Zorin, Mint and a couple of others so all in all I'd say I'm a Debian simp.
(Will be trying out Arch when I can afford my time to redo my dev environment, looks sweet and lightweight)
Debian base is a solid choice! Let me know when you try Arch.
Arch is my fav, I got used to running it with I3wm which is super cool, but after a while I'm thinking of settling on gnome over arch. Simple, easy to set up.
Also if you take a look at arch, you don't have to do a manual install completely anymore, you can use arch-install once you boot up to the USB drive.
Super handy to avoid the lengthy from scratch build.
Good video
I suggest using the install script for icons and themes from the themes creator, he is a very dedicated designer and developer that makes adaptive gorgeous themes
Oh so using the scripts makes them adaptive? I knew that copying the files to ~/.icons or ~/.themes work.
@@ArcTechnologies why you keep removing the comment.
It does not violate your community rules
Strange.
I didn't remove anything. I didn't receive any reply from you. Maybe try posting it again?
@@ArcTechnologies it keeps getting removed, it's RUclips algorithm
The word that makes it go away is GitHub
@@ArcTechnologies Sorry, my English is not perfect. Utilizing the scripts available in the creator's repo will provide you with more power and customization in every aspect of the theme, such as rounded borders, a floating top panel, MacOS title bar buttons, Nord version, etc. This helps in tailoring the theme to better suit your distribution and your GNOME version.
Good evening, another great video, my favorite distro is Arch Linux with Hyprland, can you do a cool customization like that????
Great suggestion! I was seeing hyprland. Will try it soon.
I second the hyprland.
Also great video.
Hyprland coming next! Any suggestions what kind of designs y'all love?
@@ArcTechnologies everything good about you I love
My favorite is fedora
The stretched logo is fixed by ensuring the proper resolution of the image itself. If it isn't perfectly square, make it so. If it needs to be wider, do it. Use Gimp, image>canvas size.
my fav is Mint
Where can we download the Conky theme?
Suggestion: Have a look at VanillaOS Orchid, the beta just got released.
Sure thing! Thanks mate.
Hello, i hope someone will reply. Just in case I came to a point where the theme is not for me or I want to change theme, how can i remove all the changed made in this tutorial? Thanks!
i gave up with gnome's fedora. customizations with gradience desnt work if i use GTK3 adwaita dark user theme, and only works partially without it when you cant have your own color theming, which will make the fedora annoying baby-blue desktop backdrop color returning. and CANT CHANGE THE BABY-BLUE FOLDER ICON COLOR no matter what. maybe next time. nope it doesnt work on my end. i have followed all instructions i found all over internet. that folder icon for example, its HARDWIRED. cant change it. and im reluctant of downloading other users made themes. for security reason.
Ughhhh
I can feel the frustration. Hope you find a solution soon.
Nice work bro but before i start does this work for ubuntu😅
My favorite Linux Distro is Debian.
very valid
Same here. It’s very stable as a main operating system for everyday use, and the desktop environments end up having a great plethora of customization features available by the time each stable release is launched.
Ok
Debian gang 💪🏿👊🏿
I updated to gnome 45. No extension for application blur😢.
Yeah don't worry. Wait for some time. I'm sure it will be updated
You ever tried dash2docklite extension?
Will try for sure
where is global menu like mac?
Can you implement the unity layout in KDE Plasma. 😊
Okay I'll try!
Tbh it's really limited kde was far easier just download and run a user theme directly and get's applied. Olus it has wider range and evety theme is sekf customisable easily
Does this extensions use much system resources when idle?
Nope! I use them daily.
does this work on all linux distros? I'm running Zorin
Sure if you have GNOME
I prefer no to have the Apple logo anywhere.
Don't get me wrong, it does feel a bit "wannabe".
Anyhow, great tutorial, thanks!
Well said! I too recommend having your distro logo. And I love Fedora anyway.
Hey, is your conky file accessible via GitHub or another service?
Bruh, I just scrolled down to find out you will post it soon. Thanks :)
Yeah adding just a sec. Thanks for reminding!

how about i3/sway rice?
Nice idea
Starting with GTK4 some applications like gnome-calculator or nautilus (files) try to prevent any theming by using the named library. A workaround that works so far is add one line into your ~/.profile: export GTK_THEME=
I didn't file any .profile file in my home dir. Do I create a blank one and then do this?
@@ArcTechnologies Yeah, you have to create a blank one
Can i do this to Mint cinamon? Does dash to dock work on Mint?
Umm I don't think so... Dash to dock is a GNOME Shell Extension and you mentioned Cinnamon.
@@ArcTechnologies noo😞o there an app for mint?
U cud use plank to get a dock on mint.
Hii can you give the conky link :)
Thanks for the reminder. Adding.

Gnome themes doesn't work for file manager and other software interfaces but if i can copy all files from gtk4 of theme to ~/.config/gtk4 then it works a little bit
Does this work for Ubuntu?
Yeah sure
This video is meant GNOME DE
now do a kde version
Nice idea
fedora
I'm new to Linux and I just installed Fedora 39, but the fonts look blurry on my 1080p monitor, but they look fine on Windows. How can I fix this issue?
Thanks. I have a problem with font awesome icons on the Conky widget. And how can I get the wallpaper?
这不就是macOS么,虽然确实漂亮,真做成这样为什么不用真的macOS呢?
ubuntu
This vedio is somuch complicated
