His battle injury is really insane. A grenade blasts and sprinklers shattered his leg.
This were the Lieutenant Colonel Y K Joshi (Now Retired Lieutenant General), Vir Chakra 13th Jammu and Kashmir Rifles ordered Captain Vikram Batra Param Vir Chakra sir evacuate Captain Naveen sir safely.
Some how Vikram sir managed to evacuate him but unfortunately an enemy sniper hit Captain Vikram Batra sir chest and attained martyrdom

Imagine throwing grenades upwards at 50 to 70 degree angles while the enemy has gravity and slope on their side.
fighting with climbing up with weapon load, no food while the enemy is dug in inside bunkers

At that point of time if we had advanced fighter jets better than mig29 or mirage 2000 like rafale, typhoon or gripen then so many casulties wouldn't have happened.
Mig 29 and mirages at that time were like what rafales and typhoon are now
That time MIG-29 and Mirage-2000 were there and these Two won the war for us
Mirage-2000 Bombed the Enemy on Ground to He'll
And MIG-29 Was giving them Air Defence which put the Pakistani 🇵🇰 F-16 out of war
