Ntsumi defends her cubs

We headed out on safari a bit earlier than usual. What we witnessed is something that could best describe “untamed Africa”. We were excited as we had just found a mother leopard and her cubs, but things quickly changed.
Unknown to us, danger was approaching, and it was almost too late when the mother leopard did spot a hyena. She charged at the hyena to protect her cubs and once the dust had settled and the hyena moved off; it returned, with backup!
The leopards got to safety with one cub making a better tree choice than its sibling resulting in the mother protecting her cub up a dead tree which was shaking as the hyenas tried to get to the cub.
Eventually, the hyenas moved off and the cats were left unharmed.
