Hi, I did upgrade from the Ultra1 to the Ultra 2 mostly for battery degradation of the first one (AWU2 is lasting more than a half day vs the AWU1); also other features to consider is the Sleep apnea tracking, upgraded Ultrawide band for locating the iPhone (shows User interface instead for playing sounds) and playing music from the speaker.

While the battery life of the Ultra 2 is more efficient thanks to the S9 chip, the difference isn’t drastically more than half a day in most cases, but it does offer slight improvements. As for sleep apnea tracking, it’s exciting to hear that it will be part of watchOS 11 and will be available for the Ultra 2, as well as Watch Series 9 and 10. Given that the Ultra 1 shares similar hardware, there’s a good chance it might support this feature too. The music playback through the speaker is still more limited to notifications and alarms, but I appreciate your detailed comparison!
