Peak District 1944 filmed by Fred Pedley

A family caravanning holiday to Staffordshire/Peak District in summer 1944. Camping by Thorpe Cloud, they visit nearby Ilam, the river Dove and Leek cattle market and Fred films an unusual hummingbird hawkmoth. The family used a green caravan, possibly for camouflage during the second world war.
