Missing seat belt trim in a Peugeot Partner or Citroen Berlingo van

- The Peugeot Partner and Citroen Berlingo electric vans that are fitted with the mesh bulkhead behind the seats, are not fitted with the trim covering the seat belts. At first, it would look like the trim is missing, but they come out of the factory like this. This video might help others that think their van is missing trim sections and tried ordering replacement parts as I did about 4 years ago.

I have a puegeot bipper and it is missing both sides. Could that be the same reason
Hi, thanks for the video. Where does the seat belt strap for the middle seat connected to/come from on the version without the bulkhead?
When they don't have the full bulkhead, they have a ladder frame behind the drivers seat. You can see it in the video on the red van. This frame includes the centre seatbelt mountings.
@@GoGreenAutos Thank you
Any way to fix the middle seat belt when it gets stuck? Has been stuck in nine since I bought it
I did have one that was stuck and purchased one from one of the breakers selling on eBay.
Hi, I don’t suppose if you know if there are seat belt mounts in the rear? Thinking of fitting a rear seat in mine. I can see on the pillars there are but not sure about the floor. If you know before I start pulling trim off it would be a great help 😀
No there's not.
@@GoGreenAutos I’ll have a look anyway 😀
Mines got the trim and the caged bulkhead by the way 🤔
Do you know how the seatbelt sliding height adjuster cover is removed? the one visible at 1:18. You say "As you can see we've got the grey trim at the top".
Can't remember if I've taken one off before, but the cover probably snaps on.
@@GoGreenAutos Managed to get it off. Brute force and ignorance.
Fair one I have the bulk head van and didn’t realise. I was thinking of removing it but noticed the third seatbelt is attached and noticed the red van had the bar bulk head behind driver containing the third seat belt. Where are they able to be purchased do you know? Cheers
You could probably get one from the breakers. Have a look on eBay. If one isn't listed, there will be some on their breaking Berlingo or Partner vans. Or of course you can buy new from a Peugeot or Citroen dealer's parts dept.
@@GoGreenAutos yeah just looked at some. Would I be able to attach the seatbelt from existing bulk head to the new ladder type if it has the welded connection on? Thanks again
@@RyanCL140 Not got one to see, but you should be able to do it fine as seat belt mountings are bolted as you need to be able to replace them.
Thanks for this info. Do you recon its the same with the citreon nemo? Like that the holes are there behind the panel, but it doesnt have a lower cover on seatbelt. Can see big hole. And the top part, the white plastic, is still too long. Putting bulkhead in for brother in law, was gona cut the plastic hahaha but said id wait until hes back home
Quite likely. They clearly have different seatbelt cover trims depending on the bulkhead type.
@@GoGreenAutos got it sorted. Did have to just remove the side covers. Thanks again for this video, would of pulled my hair out, not much info out there on it. Saved me alot of hassle
Mine's a '14 berlingo and it has all trims and the metal
I went to the scrap yard and got them
Mines got the full mesh bulkhead and has the trim for the seat belts
