Bought one of these three weeks ago, and while watching you tube vids every night for several hours, I am having dropout problems with my blue tooth headphones. I know it is the laptop, as my other HP laptop that I use during the day, does not have any such problems. Apart from that, this is a fantastic computer.
i use bluetooth on this laptop heavily as all my speakers and headphones are bluetooth only. I have never had this problem and i’ve been getting some heavy use out of this laptop lately. Maybe your bluetooth devices are trying to connect to multiple points (phone/TV/laptop). I’m grasping at straws here but honestly i can’t see how else you would have this problem. or maybe i’m just lucky and still haven’t got this problem myself😅
Yeah pretty obvious you're Bluetooth device is actually just garbage I have the same laptop and I have Bluetooth devices hooked up a lot of them all at the same time and I have no issues
In fact this laptop is so good it literally turns on as soon as you press the power button no going to a welcome screen or seeing a bunch of random letters generating on the screen You go right to the login screen and boom you're on your freaking desktop This is one of the fastest laptops I've ever seen
The only thing i hate about this laptop is i cant use a powerbank to charge it🥲because of its charger type ive seen specific powerbanks for it but its so big
I am interested in Asus Vivobook 15 X1505ZA-OLED-L721W 15.6" FHD (i7-1255U/16GB/512GB SSD/W11. I want to use it as a student in digital systems, so is it good for programming and some gaming? Also, can someone explain to me the use of card reader? Is that mean I can't have it for too long?
Hey, same here. Did you buy it and would you recommend to someone buying it for the same reason you had. I'm thinking between i7 1255u and 20gb of ram, and Ryzen 7 7730U with 16gb of ram, what would you choose?

If this is anything like the chealer 7520 ryzen version, the display has VRM flicker at 50% brightness and lower snd can cause headaches snd eye strain be warned.
It isn't the most powerful notebook around tbh. This is really made for portability and sacrifices some power to get there. I would maybe look at something with an Intel Ultra 7 for video editing. Those chips have built-in video editing performance cores which help a lot. Like you can edit on this but it will likely hang during big tasks and take a while to export larger projects.
Not recommended to buy, the keyboard's user-friendliness is bad. Especially in the evening light and the silver version. I wanted to cancel the purchase, but it was refused. Or -25% of the selling price.
Yes it is a loud notebook especially when charging due to the heat build-up. Try and also enable the "Silent" mode" in the ASUS software to silent them as much as possible. Keep in mind that this does impact the performance.
We had many days and even weeks in the Northern part of Sweden this winter with negative 30-40 degrees C... so you don't think it's necessary? Think again... 🙂🥶
too bad it has a tendency to just stop working. no display no nothing on the internal and external displays the fans spin up and nothing more. i have done all i can to fix the problems. non have worked. it lasted about 3 months at most.
Also anybody wondering how you would get ethernet on us instead of Wi-Fi you just need to get a USBC ethernet doggle Also this laptop can be used for gaming contrary to what he said It may not be able to run more modern modern games for next-gen consoles really It may open them and stuff but they'll be really slow You best bet is to get shadow PC like I use and then you can actually game on this perfectly as long as you get the doggle for the ethernet cable You'll have a great old time on this I came on this all the time using shadow PC
It doesn’t really look cheap tho. No tacky lights, everything design-wise has a flow and tbh it’s a quite aesthetically pleasing low profile laptop. on the capabilities side of things i’d say that the price to value ratio is incredible. It’s a laptop that (imo) is marketed towards students or casual users. I’ve been using it for C coding with a linux subsystem and a lot of chrome tabs open and honestly it works smooth as butter and is not even noticeably loud. and again i really can’t see why it “looks cheap”😭
@@NoNeedForLungs Agreed...those who call it cheap looking are easily drawn in by gimmicky designs such as touchscreens and flippable displays and all that other crap that lasts for one generation, than is scrapped for the status quo...this is a laptop...you want a solid and sturdy design, strong battery and good display.....ideally at a good price...well, you get all of that with this, except the price is more than good, it's great and the display is more than OK, it's amazing...just recommended to my sister for family use with my 8 year old twin niece and nephew...she was cross shopping with MacBooks which cost about 5 of these....as an M3 MacBook owner, I can justify it as I'm pushing 40 and have an office job....for 8 year olds watching RUclips, doing school work and organizing family photos, this is more than enough...

Yeah, will it survive my teen waiting for the bus in winter? Lol
I got this computer for my teen’s highschool years. I hope it will be sufficient in performance for a few years.
Thinking of buying this just for the screen and play games in the cloud with GFN or by streaming my gaming PC via local network.
Does it have any thermal problems?
