I got my nose done in Istanbul and I stayed two weeks in total. I walked around with my nose in bandages and NOBODY CARED. it was amazing. No judgmental stares nothing. Just acceptance.
They say that one day we all look back on our lives and wonder if we've lived a full life. Not only are you living to the fullest, you're doing it with each other - the times you share together are invaluable. From Marfa Texas to Istanbul Turkey... thanks for the ride!
Just wanted to hop on here and leave a quick thank you. I really enjoyed all 3 Istanbul videos even though I am living in Istanbul myself. I really appreciate that you took your time and researched the places you ate at. Keep up with the good work! 🤍
I like that you guys are not going to the mainstream places. I do advice you to also visit up north of istanbul where you will find a whole other side of this city. For instance uskudar, etiler or bebek!
@@ONWorldTravel So happy that we found your channel. We slow travel full-time as well. I wanted to know what the internet was like when you were there. The last time we were in Istanbul was in winter 2020-2021 and it wasn't good. We want to go back so are wondering if it's better now.
Subscribed!!!!!!!!! If you ever get the chance to go to the Republic of Georgia and Kazakhstan, go!!!!!! I'm American, from "nowhere", Virginia and sometimes can't believe how much I've traveled and the friendships I've had. I'm not as great about filming stuff they way you guys are, so I appreciate people like you who capture the wonder of travel in a way that says "you can do this too!" That's my whole message to everyone: if I can, you can!!!!! I was in Istanbul last year and was over the moon. I nearly cried tears of joy in the Hagia Sophia.
I’m an American in Istanbul for a month, and this is probably one of the best and most honest Istanbul videos I’ve seen. I particularly like that they don’t gush over everything and I intend on checking out 2-3 spots that they visited. There is a bunch of stuff that can be added, but overall excellent and informative video. I just subscribed.
You made me so excited to visit Istanbul very soon!! At the end of the month of October for 5 days. Thank you for sharing your expirience. I loved it. You are both the best! Wishing you more journey together. Cheers!
Great video, really enjoyed watching, especially the last restaurant with the lamb dish, we're going to Istanbul soon and need to eat there, where can we find that restaurant?
Thank you "My Friends" for such a great and funny video! Love your sense of humor (it flows naturally..lol) .. What an interesting and mysterious city.
2:30 Fun fact about Mandabatmaz: Mandabatmaz means ‘buffalo doesn’t sink,’ which implies you can put a buffalo over a coffee glass and it won’t sink because of the thickness of the foam. This is a marketing technique by the founder of Mandabatmaz coffee shop. 🙂
Do you know that you can take a flight to Istanbul and spend 3-5 days there and fix your teeth there and still less expensive than just fixing a single tooth in US??
Driving the city center is a complete madhouse so don’t recommend renting a car while here. And the PT is so good you wouldn’t need to anyways. Cars are allowed through even on the narrow streets, mostly taxis and work vehicles, and they do drive a bit hectic so we always alert. Thanks for watching!
Hello. Great video ! I heard the city has a lot of hills. Are they hard to walk ? If so, which area do you recommend to stay...flat area. Thank you so much !
Nice video! And the Turkish fan from Amsterdam is right about the algoritme. And i’m Turkish guy from Rotterdam 😅 Btw 13:25 nice Turkish Melodi! I like the edit. Because of most westerns using arabic of indian background music… thats not vibing
Welcome to Türkiye. 04:14 He say; "It's called roasted Turkish coffee" 5:00 Türkiye is very famous for hair transplantation. (Because Good and Cheap) People arriving by plane from other countries for just hair transplantation. They have businesses selling; flight tickets + hotel + hair transplant packages.
I love your channel, but I think you made fun of people in the video. Some peeps don’t have hair & some can’t dance. Try & put yourself in their shoes if they’re watching. Anyway keep going.. I do love the humor dude., & you guys were the first to use use movie references in your videos. Take care out there & safe travels!
Locals told us prices in the city center have gone up quite a bit over the last year. But it was still very affordable compared to other major cities 👍🏼
I know who you have been watching...Mark Wiens right? "I'm going in, let me unwrap it for you...The meat is so tender." And the backward motion of the head.
Hi there, We are an african restaurant located in the heart of Istanbul, in Cezayir Sokak (No.1). With senegalese and ivorian specialities such as mafé, thieb or bissap, you can't be desappointed if you come. We would be glad to welcome you in our charming restaurant, so don't hesitate to come visit us ! See you ! Have a good one !
I think your content is great, you guys are funny, entertaining and educational. But please stop with this RUclips of recycling the click bait with updating your videos with the current year. This video was most likely filmed late 2022 or first half of 2023. The upload date is back in May 2023. This is not an Istanbul 2024 video. The entrance fee for most attractions has been changed, inflation has hit the country, all restaurants and cost of food has increased and you’re doing your viewers injustice by baiting them into thinking this is an updated 2024 video of Istanbul. You guys don’t need to do this, you have great content and decent subs. Honestly, don’t ruin your success with following this RUclips trend of changing past videos title to the current year. You don’t need to milk the extra views.
I got my nose done in Istanbul and I stayed two weeks in total. I walked around with my nose in bandages and NOBODY CARED. it was amazing. No judgmental stares nothing. Just acceptance.
Why? Do people stare at
Dompeople stare at other people with judgemental eyes when they are different in your country?
Im a local and I had the same two weeks😂 sometimes they said get well soon at the restaurants, thats it 😂

Very informative video. I like how you mix it up and see more touristy spots but also more local spots - this is the best way to travel. Enjoy !

Do not consume too much as the bite is sweet, syrupy and plain, but it will be beneficial for you to eat it occasionally.

We had a blast! Thanks!🤘🏽
What an awesome trip you two are having...
How did you find that tour guide who took you to the Dervish show and the restaurant afterwards? We're headed there in two weeks!

What an awesome tour. Were all the areas pedestrian only? It looks like the whole city is paved with tile.

Hello.
Great video !
I heard the city has a lot of hills.
Are they hard to walk ?
If so, which area do you recommend to stay...flat area.
Thank you so much !
10:18 That is the spot where the shoe shiner attempted the common scam to me but I gave him the shiner and kept walking instead of talking with him.
Pickle juice is consumed on special occasions. A drug is an antioxidant. The taste can be difficult unless you are used to it.
Thank you for your videos, I have subscribed to them ❤❤❤
Excellent video guys.... You got Talent
Thank you Gregorio!!
Great video guys thanks! Who is the tour guide you did the walking tour and Dervish with?
That one was on Airbnb experiences! 🤘🏽
Nice Video!

Where´s the kebab place? :D Going in October,
There’s a lot of great ones, just type in kebab on Google maps and check out the 4.5 stars and up places 👍🏽

2:12 The easiest way to remember how to say THANK YOU in Turkish is to say this phonetically: TEA SUGAR DREAM. Thank me later 😄👌
Istanbul's nickname is 7 hills...
Hi can I ask which camera do you guys use for recording?
Panasonic Lumix GH5

You could have taken the metro from IST airport. It’s easy to avoid the taxis now.
if you want to pronounce "Thank you" in turkish, say just "tea sugar dream" fast.
Nice little trick 👍🏽

Read “teşekkür ederim” as “tea sugar a dream”
as in Istanbul last April
1) we bought Donuts from the same dude
2) i hated the pickle juice
3) you hould have tried the Balik Ekmek
All solid suggestions! We’ll have to try the fish sandwich next time!

What would be an reasonable budget for 2 people for 6-7 days in Istanbul? Great video btw!
Think hotel Cheap $50 (Basic breakfast) to $125 (Buffet Breakfast), then $30 a day (Maybe less) for food, travel and some even much less.
You have A great fortune
Yes, we do feel very fortunate to get to do what we do. All the best to you
really enjoyed watching this. btw the guy looks like he's elon musk's long lost son.
