The 911 dispatcher needs to be fired. Destruction of property is not a civil matter, it's a criminal matter, and the police should have been sent out to arrest the so-called 'enforcement officers'.
You know, he shouldn't have gone to and his homeowners. Association should have been dissoli, don't? Think they should have a dictatorship telling them what they can and can't do I wouldn't want to be a problem. I was associated with You talkin' to me. I can't do this.I can't do that
It's an all too common response where HOA's and squatters are involved. They don't necessarily know the law well enough to know when they can and can't get involved, and don't want to cause problems for themselves later on.
He tried but the 911 dispatcher refused because of her opinion, it was a civil matter. Never mind the fact that signed up to her to make the judgment as to whether it’s civil or criminal. The minute he mentioned destruction of property - private property at that - she should’ve alerted the police and sent them to investigate a complaint of criminal trespass and destruction of private property.
That is the thing about the stories on this channel. They are so passive. Men are tearing up his property and the OP wastes time saying “Stop! I say again, STOP!” Threatens to call the police but pointlessly delays doing so. Does not insist that law enforcement come out. The channel has some good stories but many of their OP’s are passive and wishy-washy.
My business partner and I owned a factory unit in a complex of 26 units. We had one vote amongst the unit owners, in the body corporate. One owner had three units so he had three votes on the board. This particular guy thought he was a stand over merchant. But at a body corporate meeting he asked that the roof repairs to one of his units be paid for by the sinking fund (an amount paid in for running repairs) . His roof had rusted out due to him running a rendering plant (boiling down animal parts for pet food) my business partner being a former police officer made strong recommendations that the body corporate not pay for it as the roof had rusted from the inside. The owners of the factory units won and this guy was not happy.
In many cases, the property is already included as part of the HOA. They are supposed to tell you, but some realtors do not. They claim it was just an oversight. If you want the property, then you have to agree to be part of the HOA. I do not know if it’s possible to opt out a property that is already inside the HOA.
Why do you, as the author, not have these non-hoa people go straight to a lawyer at the first provocation? That's just one of the reasons these stories make no flipping sense
Legally, I would invoke the 2nd Amendment if someone attacked my house or person.
You mean the amendment which establishes a well regulated militia?
Amendment 2 stops that kind of " enforcement action " just sayin.
No it doesn't. The second amendment establishes the right of states to create well regulated militias. It has NOTHING to do with property rights.

The destruction of private property is not a civil matter the police would have responded
Strange that the police did nothing when called with people trespassing and destroying his properties.
After suing the hoa I would've sued the police felt for doing nothing
"Hello, police? There's a group of men that have invaded my home and are destroying my property!" "Gee, that sounds like a civil matter."
The HOA would be in debt for over a couple of million dollars after I got through with them. The cops dropped the ball on this one.
yea the cops refused to do anything
Why didn't he file a complaint with the police department?
"It's a civil matter."

I've come across a few of these stories and they all sound exactly the same.
Never confront the HOA let the attorney confront the criminals

This feels AI generated. This story is not findable on Reddit.
They have the exact same set up every single video. It’s just a remake with different names and different properties but exact same set up.

WTF, why do these people always go right to these corrupt HOA’s in person. Go directly to a lawyer!!! This would be a huge winning lawsuit. F the HOA.
I don't understand how people willingly join an HOA

Better yet, go visit their homes and show them what it like
And get arrested for criminal trespass and destruction of private property. Yeah, smart. 🤦🏽♂️

Fake
so it's a reddit post disguised as a video... at least give us an actual photo.
Y'all know this is just a story, right? It never really happened. Just a story for clicks and views. Don't be so gullible.
