A similar situation happened to me when I wanted to buy a new car, I always been a Honda/Acura guy and I went to a dual Honda/Acura dealership in my area and first went to the Acura part but the salesman didn't put any attention to me cause I was in casual clothes, I moved to the Honda part and got the most expensive model with all the trimmings and paid in cash, after getting the car I went to the Acura side of the dealership and gave thanks to the salesman and the manager cause I got the most expensive Honda model with the exact specifications than the Acura model I wanted and still saved 11 thousand dollars. Enjoy no having the commission.
