👍👍👍 3 Thumbs Up!! Your Dewalt Rig is hype bro. Boom the Bass, it's all about clean bass! I prefer not to have latches, the way its set up is perfect. You can always ratchet strap the whole system in transport if need be. Dewalt makes one tough product, I mean contractor grade products that stand up to years of abuse just like my Hilti stuff, there's no difference in toughness between Hilti and Dewalt just different product offerings. You guys mean business and have some great tools and accessories. I would pay up to $250 Canadian for this radio and more if it accepted the 6Ah flexvolt. I can hardly wait until the wife and I figure out if we are buying and renovating or building a house so I can have my shop to fill up with awesome gear!! Love your videos, every single one, Killing it Vince and the VCG Gang! Just saw that latch at the end!!
ChrisKonkleVlogs I hear ya bro!! Bummed it doesn’t take the Sexxxy Flexxxy volt batteries. The new T Stack radio does. This radio was out before the Sexxxy Flexxxy. I’ve had for 2 years now. It fits in my truck nicely.
I've been in construction for almost 30 years and have seen just about every jobsite radio...This Dewalt is the mother of all jobsite radios by far....I was stunned when I heard this thing.
I've had this radio for 2 years, it's fallen off a roof 2 stories onto concrete with my phone stored inside, it's had mass amounts of spackle sanded on top of it, saw dust, and ect. I take it out every time I go fishing and has been totally soaked for hours in the rain. When it fell off the roof my phone was still in perfect condition and the radio only had some dings and marks on it!! Now the 4 clips you pull together to open the storage tray are completely destroyed but i rigged something up that keeps it closed...not hard to figure something out for that minor issue. The sound quality today is just as good as it was the first day I bought it, charging is slow, and radio reception blows ass to be honest. I love this sound system and would recommend to anyone looking to elevate the music experience on a jobsite.
I've been using the tough system radio/cart/boxes for about 2-3 years now, I switched to flexvolt everything about a year ago that I wouldn't look back. My critiques on the radio after 3 years of use is: 1) the charger adapter craps out fairly eays 2) the volume knob becomes finicky 1) the fact i have over $2000 in 60v batteries to run my crew but have to keep 2 20max for the radio Still best around and im not going to ditch $1500 in toughsystems boxes/racks/cart to get the tstack for a 60v battery
Great Radio!!!! I absolutely Love this radio and love this youtube channel. Thank you Vince. I use the radio/remote mp3 player during home construction projects, multiple Boy Scouts Merit badge presentations, and an annual month long local community charity fundraiser project which gets quite a workout. Yet this Awesome Sound system sounds the same as the day it arrived brand new in the box (April 2016...4 Years Ago!!!) This is a great product both indoors and out. It has experienced crazy extended use and never disappoints. Finally, I most definitely appreciated you taking the time to point out the "tough system locking hook" on the back of the Radio, creating a positive firm latch on the tough system carrier, (currently not available on the recent 2.0 version). If you are dealing with transport and/or kids running all over knocking into everything, you need your gear secured. Thanks again Vince for all you do and please keep doing what you are doing. Charles, New York.
I honestly bought one for burning man because of this video but 2020 canceled that and I returned it before even opening it. BUT I think im gonna buy again!
Hi Vince your video rocks! I'm a custodian at my local high school and every time the trades come in to do work they have this bad boy pumping out music down the halls! But the guys in wood shop have the older Milwaukee 2790-20 that I use when I clean in there. Can you please do a death match between these two like Godzilla vs Rodan?
I have it and the tstak system radio they both get slightly louder when plugged in run it on battery then while running on battery listening plug it in you will hear the difference I got the tstak radio first but then bought the tough system radio because it sounds cleaner at high volume but the tstak you have a color screen can run on flex volt and fit bigger phones inside. Also the tstak you can pause play and skip ahead and back on bluetooth all in all I prefer the tough system radio for better sound quality but if you want features go with the tstak
This video sounds so good in my car stereo bro awesome. I rock the Bose mini sound link but this would be a party with the DeWalt banging absolutely. Yo I seen ance tools have a tough system cooler it serious stuff That cooler would be the ultimate add on for sure.
Vince you need to see about getting yourself to DeWalt phone cuz it's supposed to be has a lot of new technologies in the new version and you can have two SIM cards inside there so you have a phone for business impersonal in one phone to see maybe we'll send you one
Hey Vince, do you have any videos of a recommendation for people of what brand you prefer if they are starting from scratch, as a homeowner. I have dewalt 18v tools and I am ready to throw them in the trash and start fresh.
Vince this Tough system radio is by far the best on the market. I own most that are available (Yeah I have issues lol) but this one kicks butt by far. I've owned it for about a year now and not a single problem brother! My next favorite is the Dewalt T'Stak that I just got! Dewalt kicks butt on their job site radios IMO. Great video buddy!
Good video I have a DeWalt radio it plays awesome I don't have this one I think this one is a bit to fancy for me I am new to your channel just subscribed found out about your channel from Ricard at finish carpentry tv he gave you a shout-out he is a true Craftsmen so if he gave you a shout-out I am on board
The radio charger is a really nice piece! We love the DeWalt ToughSystem so i decided to get it! We really appreciate everything Richard has done, and we appreciate you being here Joseph, welcome to the #VeryCoolGang!
Vince seems like the kind of guy that would be fun to drink with. And he had every tool I could ever want as soon as it comes out and he carries a spyderco knife. Vince your cool AF I want to hang out no homo
VCG Construction you said you would like to get one so I kept my ass out you take care bud I got to get a shower and get to bed will see your show tomorrow
Once its connected to bluetooth and music playing. Can you still use your phone for text and streaming... or will it auto disable the music. ? Or if getting a incoming call. How will it effect it.
Vince that dewalt radio I will buy one of these days and Vince I almost bought the dewalt tough system cooler but I thought I might find it on sale in December
Hey, is that the radio on the top of your tough system? Considering getting the Toughsystem radio but the one I see only charges 1 battery. Since you pulled the radio out in this video WTF is that? Can you plug extension cords into it?
How most people overlook this is unreal. Vince mentioned it. My Milwaukee radio charger can use any M18 battery including the new 12 HO. The very fact that defaults cannot use all their batteries is the most stupid thing I have ever seen, can you say planned obsolescence? I had my Milwaukee charger radio on for 5 straight days with the 12 HO, this includes night and days. It finally died at the end of the 5th day. Beat that default?
You fanboys kill me...just use what you like and who gives a shit who doesn't like it. I could care less what somebody else spends THEIR money on as long as it not costing me anything have at it.
I wish so much that Kobalt would make a jam box like that one. I'm not paying 100 dollars for a friggin battery. If I was sure that could handle the 24volts I would get it and mod it to work on Kobalt 1.5ah ... 10 dollar batteries. It would just be a matter of making or buying an adapter and bolting it to the side rail.
The new TStak radio seems to spec out better than the older big brother Tough System... torn between the two of them. Now if Dewalt would implement what my Bosch 360 radio can do with USB and SD card music playback, I'd buy one tomorrow. I use those options far more than Bluetooth
Vince, I will say this. You are loud! Please get a 3.5mm jack splitter and see if all of your site radio's put together are louder? Lol. If you do this I will subcribe (If I haven't already)
Nice radio---but DON'T like the power brick it needs-can't we just use a cord that plugs into the outlet?-My old DeWalt radio has a cord-no bricks. Also use the old DeWalt radio for "DX" when run from a battery.Powerlines can introduce noise. My old DeWallt radio charger has an analog tuner.Best for DX. A DX groud suggested the DeWalt radio I have-bought it many years ago.
Great sounding radio but the battery compartment is junk (won't accommodate anything beyond 5.0 batteries) and the thing is friggin' huge. I'm going to wait for their TSTAK radio which is slightly smaller, accepts the larger batteries, and from what I've heard sounds at least as good.
I'm rocking a Sony until DeWalt fixes the hanging arm mounts on this thing. The sound on the 8810 is great but the TS organizer has clips to retain it to mounting arms; it's ridiculous the expensive radio doesn't have them. As for the compartment door... it's stilt an embarrassment. Go to any Home Depot and you will see a broken compartment door on display. I'm a big Tough System guy so I hope DeWalt fixes this thing, at some point. Even if they lower the sound quality, I'd buy it if they can make it rack properly and not break the first couple of months.
Billy Stone me to and I still want to buy the DeWalt. Sounds like a premium radio while the Milwaukee sounds like something I put on my shoulders back in high school
“QUITE FRANKLY” tool reviews lol..... quite frankly i think I’ve heard you say that a lot of times. Quite frankly I’m too tired to look back, but quite frankly, it is funny. Thanks for the review! Much appreciated sir!
My wife said if you want the homemade saw from her you'd have to making your butt down here do your drill challenge against my Ridgid drills against your Milwaukee drill 12 volt she's a Master Chef and a master mess maker if you want clarity about the Masters mestemaker cuz she uses every pot and pan in the house and make her pho

New drinking game. Take a drink every time Vince says "I gotta tell you!" Love my tough system radio. Great for outdoor movies!
I gotta tell ya, youd be drunk quick!! 😂😂😂
Or here's the deal 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Charles,
New York.
DEWALT is cheap in the US, here is Australia it’s quite expensive. I have one but not the latest and I love it. It goes with me everywhere.
I just got one of these. It has been well used! How do I turn down the bass?
I have it and the tstak system radio they both get slightly louder when plugged in run it on battery then while running on battery listening plug it in you will hear the difference I got the tstak radio first but then bought the tough system radio because it sounds cleaner at high volume but the tstak you have a color screen can run on flex volt and fit bigger phones inside. looks awesome...very solid design and high tech...thanks for showing 👍
This video sounds so good in my car stereo bro awesome. I rock the Bose mini sound link but this would be a party with the DeWalt banging absolutely. Yo I seen ance tools have a tough system cooler it serious stuff
That cooler would be the ultimate add on for sure.
Definitely a good combination for a party !! What would be a better livestream, from the beach or the fishing boat?
had this radio power cord broke and so did the latche tabs on top for the compartment. sounded great though.
Nice!! but I’m good with my Milwaukee Bluetooth speaker, I paid 130$ with a M12 2.0 Ah battery and charger. Good video Vince
That is also a good sound producer!!
VCG Construction I love it bro!!
Wmmr radio was awesome when I work in Phili in 1998
Vince you need to see about getting yourself to DeWalt phone cuz it's supposed to be has a lot of new technologies in the new version and you can have two SIM cards inside there so you have a phone for business impersonal in one phone to see maybe we'll send you one

CUZ!!!! You peeled the screen off. I haven’t pulled mine yet. Going on three years. You just voided the DeWalt limited warranty.
If u had to pick today which one to pick what will it be? Tough system or tstak?
Basing from his comment, He would pick both!
So which radio is better , this one or the Milwaukee pack out radio.?
Loud enough to be enjoyed over engine noises like generators or similar?
what is biggest battery i will take ?
it sounds awesome waiting for price to drop a little just wondering will it charge your iPhone Vince? great video
dokmanian michael this thing has been $199 for a few years. Until they change it to charge the flexvolt batteries you will see a price drop.
Sounds amazing on the video also
Man that thing sounds amazing 😉 I love Dewalt
It is pretty sweet!

That stereo is bad ass
can it play cassette tapes or Sony MiniDiscs, that would be great for some of us a few decades behind the curve.
HandyWyo just 45’s and 8 tracks.
They have an 18 volt oscillating tool from Milwaukee and that's $100 off right now at Home Depot
Online or in store Kona?
VCG Construction yes sir I was just looking at seeing deals assault there but you got to pay attention cuz I got like two of them on there for
VCG Construction you said you would like to get one so I kept my ass out you take care bud I got to get a shower and get to bed will see your show tomorrow
Once its connected to bluetooth and music playing. Can you still use your phone for text and streaming... or will it auto disable the music. ? Or if getting a incoming call. How will it effect it.
Notifications will sound through the stereo speakers. Calls will cut the music. Its like any other Bluetooth device in that way.
aloha vince love the video and i love the dewalt tough system going to go out and get a radio
James you wont be disappointed!!
james lysiuk .... yeah. It plays cassettes
Vince that dewalt radio I will buy one of these days and Vince I almost bought the dewalt tough system cooler but I thought I might find it on sale in December
Will it accept a regular 20V 6a.h. battery? Non flex volt
Did u also make a review about the Dewalt Tstak radio ?
We did not!
Great video Vince
Thanks Antonio !
Vince yes the job site charger and how long does it take to charge The batteries Where is the bottle opener I don’t see it on the toughsystem
No bottle opener , we're gonna test the charger function!!
Hey, is that the radio on the top of your tough system? Considering getting the Toughsystem radio but the one I see only charges 1 battery. Since you pulled the radio out in this video WTF is that? Can you plug extension cords into it?
Found it thanks!
Vince how about a Jobsite radio face off between dewalt and Milwaukee
We’re gonna do it! You want the radio chargers correct?
Leave it to DeWalt to make an awesome looking radio.
Dude it sounds awesome too!!
The locking feature is on the back. Stacking it on top with just the side clips holding it isn't very secure.
What do you think of the tstak
I think it’s a good system!
How most people overlook this is unreal. Vince mentioned it. My Milwaukee radio charger can use any M18 battery including the new 12 HO. The very fact that defaults cannot

Why did you watch a 25min video about a Dewalt radio if your happy with yours ?
they developed this before they had done the batteries i believe
I wish so much that Kobalt would make a jam box like that one. I'm not paying 100 dollars for a friggin battery. I have a Dewalt T Stack radio and it bloody awsome, vey bassie
I like the BASS!

I like that boxes
It doesnt charge the 5Ah batteries right?
If it had a microphone then I could answer calls to and it would be even better.

Exactly
VCG = VERY CONCERNED GUY....lol...nice review Vince as always
Thanks Hunter, you know it!!
Sounds more amazing with the power cord
How do you get any work done while you put out all these vids? I hope you're not on the clock haha
Does anyone know where i can get a new or used tuner for the DC011 #0829-3 or PWB5140019-42
I'm rocking a Sony until DeWalt fixes the hanging arm mounts on this thing. Love acme tools
I guess Vince is all about that Bass
Monawar Rajayki no tremble
All about that Bass!!
Did I see that right? The flexvolt doesn’t fit?! Strange...
That is correct!
I don't honestly hate Default.... I mean Dewalt but at lest Milwaukee got that right.
Too bad this radio cost 250$ dollars now. This link still work?

Richard Garner which Tuesday??? Octcember???? Julaugust??? Janay???
renaissanceman July 10th 2018 is when I will get the tools in the mail
Nice Richard!!
How does the Milwaukee sound?
Be on the lookout for a head 2 head!!
VCG Construction I'm vested heavily in the m18 .
Billy Stone me to and I still want to buy the DeWalt. Sounds like a premium radio while the Milwaukee sounds like something I put on my shoulders back in high school
Billy Stone have you ever heard a person who owes you “Beef Sandwich” money scream underwater???? That’s how the Milwaukee sounds.
renaissanceman dang I know that sound. I'll straight drown someone over beef sandy money! Haha
blain's farm and fleet has this radio on sale for 149.25
What about the usb
“QUITE FRANKLY” tool reviews lol..... quite frankly i think I’ve heard you say that a lot of times. Quite frankly I’m too tired to look back, but quite frankly, it is funny. Thanks for the review! Much appreciated sir!
Good drake/lil Wayne song too by the way... you playing that song sold me on it lol... and it sounds like it may pump out hard based on your energy
I got one and it’s Grrrrrrrrreat🔉🔉 🔈🤪🔉
Big T!! How long have you had it?
VCG Construction I’ve had it about 6 months mate.
It’s really useful for everything Vince 👍🏻
Nice radio 🎼
How did it sound?
Omg, turn it down Vince my windows are shaking!! Lol
🤣🤣🤣
at 16:44 to 17:03 the sound kicks out.
Usb????
My wife said if you want the homemade saw from her you'd have to making your butt down here do your drill challenge against my Ridgid drills against your Milwaukee drill 12 volt she's a Master Chef and a master mess maker if you want clarity about the Masters mestemaker cuz she uses every pot and pan in the house and make her pho
Oh snap, it just got real!!
VCG Construction did you see it bud
I like the yelling I guess lol
Glad you like it, cause it’s just the way I talk!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@VCGConstruction it's cool gets me pump to do some videos too 😁
Fuck it, take my money!!
I agree!!
VCG Construction this one or The Tstak Radio? Which one do you recommend?
VCG Construction this one or The Tstak Radio? Which one do you recommend?
VCG Construction this one or The Tstak Radio? Which one do you recommend?
Vince get back to work or I will not give you your paycheck
If you want good sound you need heavy speakers. Just look at Bose, they have some of the heaviest speakers.
This may be my one and only DeWalt tool. Milwaukee radio sounds like crap. DeWalt sounds how a modern radio should
chris jones the radio isn’t the only tool DeWalt got right over Milwaukee. #justsayin.
renaissanceman in the hydronics field I work in Milwaukee is King. Sds,5x5 bandsaw, grinders, gen 2 high torque, hole hawg, hackzall I could go on and on. The radio is only DeWalt tool I'd be willing to buy at the moment now if they have more tools come out in my trade that are game changers I'd switch but until Milwaukee will continue to be my platform.
chris jones yeah. I understand Milwaukee specialized in plumbing and electrical. That’s the field to be in hydroponics!!!!!!! Pot is where it’s at CUZ!!!! Stackin RACKS!!!! If you ever need a “Beef Sandwich” Distributer. Let me know.
The Milwaukee radio charger most certainly does not sound like crap?
skip to 3:30 to pass the cocaine usage intro
It's the best radio.. nothing even close to the sound quality
Why are you yelling at me!!!!😨
nope nope nope the radio sucks, i have all the boxes from cooler, tstax and all tough system with no problems tough as shit but the radio has the worse reception i have ever heard. it just pops out for no reason and when you finally get one station well dont plug it in because you then loose it. i wrap mine in foil lay speed squares levels ladders on it just for one station tha is within the city limits, junk dewalt radios.
you know your lying when you say its awsome and the battery always falls out of place the little sponge hold is weak. nope not happy with the 180 bucks but it looks nice
Clown
I am thinking of giving you a thumbs down 👎🏻 just for the music you where playing.
What you don't like the biebs???
Will it work on a
20/60 flex volt, charger or anything
